JavaScript developer (offline)

Required:
* At least 3 years of JavaScript development and experience with React and TypeScript
* Understanding of agile methodologies like Scrum
* Intermediate English

Desired:
* Experience with material UI and redux
* Knowledge of python or node.js
* Good spoken English

Responsibilities:
* Develop a new project from scratch to provide the self-service tool for noise and vibration calculations to the client's customers, as well as maintain and develop two other existing projects (internal tools) in the client organization
* Participate in the scoping, management, implementation, and optimization of projects
* Collaborate in a self-organized team of software developers

About project:
Large-scale construction projects generate noise and vibration which can have significant adverse effects on the surrounding community if not managed and mitigated appropriately. Typically construction noise and vibration are predicted by an acoustic consultant prior to works commencing, for the purpose of assessing the potential impacts and cost of any required mitigation.

A solution is for a noise and vibration self-assessment tool which can be easily used by contractors for noise predictions that meet the relevant requirements and expected level of detail. The tool can largely automate the production of site-specific noise management plans and therefore save the contractor significant time and/or money.
