Senior BA Engineer #8126 (offline)

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to support further development of existing product built by Lohika. The product is visual analytics platform allowing to plan and track progress of medical research projects. Includes tight integration with several 3rd party systems including Predictive Analytics engine, IBM Informix databases, D2P systems. Job purpose is to lead QA and BA agendas for this project, create internal testing strategy and work closely with customer to support their formal QA and documentation processes. Provide a quality assurance and documentation process for a single-page web-application being created using modern technologies.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in calls with customer to determine business needs. Formulate, test and sign off user and functional requirements
Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria
Full responsibility for quality of the product
Test Planning plus developing all corresponding documentation when needed (test plans, test cases)
Tracking documentation changes and providing formal testing results in enterprise project management system
Manual, Regression, Functional, E2E test execution
Work by Scrum methodology alongside with development team
Ongoing Bug Reporting using JIRA system
Communication with customer on formal testing process alignment
Perform analysis of defects to increase product quality
Testing under multiple platforms (target platforms are Windows and iOS)
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
5+ year experience in QA
Fluent English and communication skills
Experience working directly with customer business users and/or Product Owner
Experience with requirement analysis
Accountability and self-organization
Knowledge of Databases and SQL
Good knowledge of Web services and single-page applications principles
Understanding client-server model and three-tier (client-server-database) architectures
Good knowledge of multi-environment setups
Experience working with Databases, basic SQL knowledge
Experience with Docker
Fast research and learning skills
Knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum
WOULD BE A PLUS:
Experience with medical business domain
Experience with HP ALM tool
