    Job description

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our core team and work on technically challenging projects in the cybersecurity domain.

One of our clients is a well-funded startup ($24+M raised) building a cutting-edge application detection & response platform. Using OpenTelemetry and trace analytics, their solution enables enterprises to stop attacks with in-application context into all runtime transactions and behaviors.

The other client is focused on training foundational large language models. They use k8s-based approaches to training infrastructure, so a solid understanding of k8s networking, autoscaling and storage is required.

Our ideal candidate is an independent DevOps/SRE engineer who has worked with a variety of technologies and can quickly navigate their way around new stacks and complex problems.

    Required skill-set & experience

    - Proven track record as a DevOps engineer (5+ years of production hands-on experience), fluent in industry trends & best practices
    - Deep understanding of AWS and/or GCP Cloud: networking, permission models, costs, core services like EC2, S3, LBs, etc.
    - Deep understanding and love of k8s in a managed setting: networking, autoscaling, permissions, operator patterns.
    - Mastery of modern DevOps tooling: ArgoCD, Terraform/Terragrunt and auxiliary tech and automations.
    - Experience with observability and monitoring both as infra and SRE: logging, metrics, tracing. Grafana stack experience preferred, but others also welcome.

    - Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ or other alternatives
    - Good enough Linux knowledge: shell, containers, build scripts, networking.

    - Upper-intermediate+ level of English

    Bonus points

    - Experience with writing operators in Go
    - Experience with system or backend programming: any of Go, C++, Python, Rust, JS
    - Experience with GPUs: CUDA, NCCL, etc

    - Experience with OpenTelemetry

    - AWS, CKA or other cloud certifications

    - You’re a contributor to open-source software, or run your own projects

    What's in it for you

    - Opportunity to become a core part of a boutique software consultancy, working with well-known international customers and complex tech challenges

    - Competitive salary

    - Paid national holidays, vacation and sick leave

    - Remote-first culture

    - Internal mentorship and upskilling

    - Monthly health bonus (gym, swimming pool, etc)

    - Learning & development stipend ($400/year)

    - FOP administration support
