We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Fintech project as a contractor. This role is suited for an experienced developer with a strong background in building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance web applications. You will work on complex systems and take ownership of critical parts of the codebase 

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Symfony.
• Design, implement, and optimize complex relational database structures in MySQL 8.0 with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Work with MongoDB for unstructured or semi-structured data storage and processing.
• Build and optimize asynchronous workflows using RabbitMQ.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Contribute to performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and other engineers on technical design and implementation.
• Stay current with relevant technologies and propose improvements where appropriate.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with PHP and Symfony in production environments is must have
• Fintech, banking or payment processing experience 
• Ability to work with legacy code base 
• Strong expertise in MySQL 8.0, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and handling large datasets.
• Practical experience with message queues (RabbitMQ or similar).
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Solid track record working on high-load systems or applications processing large volumes of data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while following established architecture and guidelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous exposure to DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with frontend stacks (React, Vue.js, or similar).

We are a small outsourcing DevOps-as-a-Service company delivering cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and operational support for multiple client projects. We work with distributed engineers and international clients and focus on reliable execution.

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to manage and coordinate our ongoing client projects. You will be the single point of coordination between clients and engineers, responsible for tracking tasks, deadlines, and communication.

Required Skills & Experience
    •    1 year experience in project management or project coordination
    •    Experience working with technical teams (IT, DevOps, software)
    •    Strong organizational and follow-up skills
    •    Clear and professional written English
    •    Ability to work independently without supervision
    •    Experience with tools like Jira, ClickUp or others

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts (CI/CD, cloud, containers)
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP terminology
• Experience working with outsourcing or consulting companies

Project Management

• Manage day-to-day execution of multiple client projects
• Maintain task boards, priorities, and deadlines
• Track progress, blockers, and dependencies
• Ensure agreed scope and timelines are followed
   

Client Communication

• Communicate with clients on status, timelines, and deliverables
• Run or support regular status calls
• Prepare clear weekly or bi-weekly project updates
• Escalate risks and issues early

Team Coordination

• Coordinate work of DevOps engineers across projects
• Ensure tasks are clearly defined and assigned
• Follow up on delays or missing information
• Keep engineers focused on priorities
   

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain basic project documentation
• Track hours, workload, and delivery status if required
• Ensure agreements, decisions, and changes are documented
