You must understand how agencies function end-to-end, including pipelines, team roles, discovery, and scoping routines.
As a web studio, this role requires strong knowledge of the web technologies we offer, including modern web design, front-end and back-end development, Webflow and no-code solutions, integrations, and the latest AI-enhanced production tools. You should be able to confidently discuss project scope, feasibility, timelines, and the reasoning behind various technical approaches.
In this role, you will ensure the fast and high-quality handling of all inbound leads — and when inbound leads slow, shift into proactive mode to convert "searching" leads through tailored outreach and proposals.
What you'll do
Priority 1 — Inbound excellence
Your primary responsibility is to ensure every inbound request is handled quickly and thoroughly. That means:
• Monitoring all incoming channels (email + platforms)
• Responding within agreed SLAs (to be set during onboarding)
• Running intro/discovery calls, clarifying needs, risks, and success criteria
• Preparing proposals using our templates: structured, on-brand, persuasive, and visually clean
• Keeping CRM and reporting fully updated
• Ensuring a clean handover to delivery once contracts are signed
• Covering for the Lead Sales Manager during PTO/illness to maintain pace across all channels
Priority 2 — Outbound / "searching leads"
When inbound demand slows down, you will actively convert leads who are already searching for a contractor but are not yet familiar with us. That means:
• Identifying open briefs/RFPs on relevant job boards/platforms
• Crafting tailored proposals and submissions
• Nurturing conversations until contracts are signed
• Coordinating with Marketing where needed for outreach angles
Must-haves
• Advanced/Fluent English (written + spoken); persuasive and structured communication
• Sales craft in digital/creative services: qualifying, discovery, scoping, and closing
• Proposal excellence: ability to argue value, package scope, and present it clearly (taste matters)
• Experience with US/EU markets, RFPs, and platform-sourced leads
• Speed + discipline: fast response time and rigorous pipeline hygiene
• Analytical mindset: double-check budgets/timelines and flag risks early
• Collaboration: work smoothly with Design, Development, Marketing, PM, and C-level
• Client rapport & negotiation: build trust quickly, handle objections, keep momentum
• Domain familiarity across startups and verticals we touch (biotech, fintech, recycling, telecom, etc.)
• Web-agency literacy: general understanding of how design and development agencies work, differences between code and no-code (e.g., Webflow), when AI is valuable, and awareness of current digital trends
• Ability to learn fast and operate independently when covering the primary Sales Manager position
Nice-to-haves
• Understanding of digital marketing; ability to coordinate with Marketing on outreach angles
• Familiarity with pricing models, change-request handling, and light estimation
• Experience with Asia/Oceania markets
Culture fit
• People over profit; substance over hype
• Openness as the default
• Change as the norm; experimentation expected
• We value clarity, pace, and argumentation — and design quality in sales materials
What you'll get
• Challenging, design-driven projects
• Reasonably flexible workday
• 30 paid days off per year (including sick leaves)

We are a cozy crew. As a group of individuals united by the same values, we are committed to the common goal of making people’s lives a bit easier and less boring. We do that by creating web and mobile experiences to help businesses promote the ideas we also believe in. We are non-corporate, no-bullshit and independent. We put people over profit and underground over mainstream. We believe that openness is the basis of effective human interaction. Experimenting and breaking the status quo is what we love. Change doesn’t frighten us, we embrace it and enjoy constantly adapting to it. We don’t think life would be easier if things stood still — we think it would be intolerably boring. Are we perfect? Hell no. We make mistakes as any human being does, but we acknowledge them and learn our lesson daily. And that’s how we stay strong. Because in this world you have to run as fast as you can just to stay in the same place.
