Our client is an international technology company developing a multi-SaaS solution for infrastructure management and DevOps processes. The company serves over 100 clients worldwide, including some of the largest global corporations across various industries. Their product is focused on delivering high reliability, scalability, and security for infrastructure, as well as improving developer experience and automating CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud environment management.

The engineering team consists of around 30 specialists and managers distributed across different countries, including Israel, Dubai, Eastern Europe, Africa, and more. All teams operate in a unified global format, without strict location-based divisions. Special emphasis is placed on building modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, MongoDB) and implementing best practices in DevOps and SRE.

Key Requirements:

Key Requirements:

The platform analyzes vessel movements, cargo data, and risk signals to identify potential issues — including high-risk or non-compliant shipments — before they reach port.

This is a new product built from scratch.
A prototype already exists, but the core architecture and product decisions are still open.
The team will work closely with senior engineering leadership based in Israel and will play a key role in shaping the product from early stage to production.
 

About the role
This is a hands-on Tech Lead position with full ownership.
You won’t be joining an existing team — you’ll bring your own (4–6 engineers) and build as a unit.
The focus is on delivering a production-ready system based on an existing prototype, working closely with data engineers and product stakeholders.

Proven experience as a hands-on Tech Lead;
You have managed your current team for at least 4+ months;

They deliver the world’s first unified Secrets & Machine Identity platform — trusted by Fortune 100 companies and industry leaders. The platform integrates Vaultless Secrets Management, Certificate Lifecycle Management, Next-Gen Privileged Access Management (Secure Remote Access), and Encryption Key Management to secure and manage the entire lifecycle of both machine-to-machine and human identities across all environments. Backed by leading cybersecurity investors and financial institutions, our client is redefining identity security for the modern enterprise.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Support / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise, a deep understanding of infrastructure and systems, and proven customer-facing experience.

Key Requirements:

Technical Expertise:
🔹 Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cluster internals, networking, namespaces, pod communication, troubleshooting);
🔹 Solid knowledge of Docker and containerized environments;
🔹 Advanced Linux system administration skills;
🔹 Practical experience with AWS (GCP is a plus);
🔹 Strong understanding of networking concepts (cloud & on-prem);
🔹 Experience with certificate lifecycle management, encryption, and key management;
🔹 Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems;
🔹 Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices;
🔹 Scripting skills (Python and/or Bash);
🔹 Understanding of security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, encryption);
🔹 English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:
🔹 Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible;
🔹 Familiarity with GCP;
🔹 Experience with Windows administration;

Support & Customer-Facing Experience:
🔹 Proven experience in L3 (or higher) technical support;
🔹 Ability to perform live troubleshooting with customers;
🔹 Experience working with ticketing systems;
🔹 Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly;
🔹 Experience supporting enterprise/B2B customers;
🔹 Ownership mindset (incident management, escalation, RCA);

Documentation:
🔹 Ability to create and maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and SOPs;

What you will do:
🔹 Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in customer environments related to Kubernetes clusters, including networking, namespace management, pod deployment, and cluster internals;
🔹 Diagnose and fix problems with Docker containers and deployments;
🔹 Provide advanced Linux system administration support; assist with Windows environments as needed;
🔹 Support customers with certificate lifecycle management, including installation, renewal, and troubleshooting of SSL/TLS certificates and key management;
🔹 Analyze and resolve networking issues within Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructures;
🔹 Assist customers with cloud infrastructure setup and troubleshooting, primarily on AWS and GCP;
🔹 Perform live troubleshooting sessions with customers to identify root causes and resolve incidents in real time;
🔹 Document solutions, create and update internal knowledge base articles, runbooks, and SOPs;
🔹 Automate support and operational tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python;
🔹 Continuously learn and test new product features in a lab environment to be prepared for customer inquiries;
🔹 Collaborate with the international team (primarily Israeli colleagues) for onboarding, knowledge sharing, and escalation of complex issues;
