You will:

• Design, develop, and integrate AI-driven capabilities using state-of-the-art LLM and NLP technologies
• Conduct research and experimentation to identify innovative approaches and apply advanced models to real customer-care challenges
• Own feature development from ideation to deployment—partnering with product teams, defining requirements, estimating scope, implementing solutions, and monitoring performance
• Enhance system performance, stability, and reliability to ensure a seamless, always-available service
• Collaborate in architectural and technical discussions to continually improve system design and developer experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Server Engineer
• Proven ability in designing server solutions, API design, and handling technical discussions
• Passion for product development
• Understanding of business objectives and goals and how to transform business problems into actionable tasks
• Strong communication skills 

Nice to have

• Experience implementing and integrating gen-AI models, particularly large language models (LLMs) into production systems
• Proficiency with Large Language Models, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, automatic evaluation and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) – an advantage

Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer on the Wix Payments AI Team, you’ll play a crucial role in the design and integration of emerging AI solutions into the Payments product. You’ll have significant responsibilities which include:

• Developing & maintaining infrastructure for both generative AI and classical data science applications.
• Researching emerging AI technology stacks and methodologies to identify optimal solutions.
• Monitoring data pipeline performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Leading & driving the entire lifecycle of a typical team project: ideation → map business constraints, research and evaluate alternative solutions → design & implement a proof-of-concept in collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization,  including data engineers, analysts, data scientists and product managers.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Trino SQL (with the ability to craft complex queries) and highly skilled in Python, with expertise in Python frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Airflow, Pyless, etc.).
• Ability to design, prototype, code, test and deploy production-ready systems.
• Experience with a versatile range of infrastructure, server and frontend tech stacks.
• Experience implementing and integrating GenAI models, particularly LLMs, into production systems. 
• Experience with AI agentic technologies (e.g. MCP, A2A, ADK) - an advantage.
• An independent and quick learner.
• Passion for product and technical leadership.

As a Server Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a new AI-powered chatbot product. In this role, you’ll help define how users design, personalize, and interact with digital characters, unlocking new possibilities in storytelling, communication, and play. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala, Kafka, and related technologies
• Build and evolve the core platform for a new AI-powered chatbot product, integrating multiple APIs and services
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of backend features — from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical direction for distributed systems and event-driven workflows

• Collaborate closely with client and AI teams to ensure high performance, reliability, and seamless user experiences

Job Description

• Take full responsibility and ownership of products from inception to production
• Own the product life cycle from conducting market, data, BI and user research to defining wireframes and KPIs to overseeing the development process
• Create and maintain relationships with Product Managers and teams across Wix
• Work closely with top-notch professionals in a huge range of disciplines across Wix to take your product to market
• Talk to users and members of our Customer Care workforce, analyze user data, and conduct usability tests to continually improve the product

Requirements

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll work on developing robust frontend-side solutions, utilizing AI tools, and contributing to the launch of innovative AI products. You’ll be expected to engage with backend systems, data flow design, and performance challenges — this role involves more than building REST APIs. You'll collaborate with product managers and team members, review code, and help drive the integration of AI technologies into our products. In your day-to-day, you will: 

• Gather product requirements and translate them into robust client-side solutions 
• Write high-quality, scalable code and review pull requests 
• Explore AI development tools and use them in your day-to-day work to enhance team capabilities 
• Collaborate with product managers and team members to launch AI-driven products

Requirements

• Proficiency in Typescript and React

A key focus of the team is on Agents over LLMs, exploring new techniques for building agents and developing innovative products that leverage them.
