In this role, you’ll help define how users design, personalize, and interact with digital characters, unlocking new possibilities in storytelling, communication, and play. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala, Kafka, and related technologies
- Build and evolve the core platform for a new AI-powered chatbot product, integrating multiple APIs and services
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of backend features — from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical direction for distributed systems and event-driven workflows
Collaborate closely with client and AI teams to ensure high performance, reliability, and seamless user experiences
Requirements
- Experience in backend development
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, event streaming, and Kafka-based architectures
- Experience with microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and data processing pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills, code quality discipline, and attention to scalability and performance
- Written and spoken English proficiency
- Experience with AI or LLM-driven products — an advantage
