Role Overview

We partner with venture-backed scaleups that expect agency teams to feel like an extension of their product engineering org. Seeking a highly detail-oriented digital-focused Software Developer with exceptional executive function skills to join our team, manage tech interviews and complex web development projects, and drive client success through meticulous organization.

You will join on a long-term contract (10–30 hours per week) with schedule flexibility as long as you are available for overlapping US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder goals into scalable technical architectures that balance velocity, quality, and maintainability.
• Lead execution on modern Jamstack and React-based web builds (Next.js, Tailwind, TypeScript, headless CMS).
• Provide technical scoping, estimation, and documentation that set downstream teams up for success.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and experience in client-facing roles.
• Participate in client demos, technical interviews, and discovery workshops as the engineering subject-matter expert.
• Is comfortable impersonating our developers during interviews, since most clients prefer to speak directly with developers.
• Is willing to support our company for at least 6 months once started (the longer, the better).
• Coach mid-level developers through pairing, code reviews, and lightweight process improvements.
• Champion accessibility, performance budgets, and security best practices across every delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with a strong web focus.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, and common headless CMS platforms.
• Comfortable owning client communications, presenting technical recommendations, and handling objections.
• Track record of shipping production systems with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability baked in.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
• Coach-like mindset—able to mentor peers and advocate for best practices without heavy process.

We’re seeking a highly detail-oriented, digitally focused Senior Product / UI-UX Designer with strong systems thinking and exceptional communication skills to lead complex web and product design initiatives and drive client success through thoughtful design leadership.

You will join on a long-term contract (10–30 hours per week) with schedule flexibility, as long as you are available for overlapping US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder goals and product strategy into scalable, user-centered design systems that balance speed, quality, and brand integrity.
• Lead end-to-end design execution across marketing sites, design systems, dashboards, and product experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI using modern design tools and workflows.
• Provide creative direction, scoping, estimation, and design documentation that enables downstream teams to deliver efficiently.
• Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and design reviews as the design subject-matter expert.
• Confidently communicate design rationale and articulate the “why” behind your decisions.
• Coach mid-level designers through critique, pairing, and lightweight process improvements.
• Champion accessibility, usability, performance-aware design, and consistency across every deliverable.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in product design, UI-UX, or digital design with a strong web focus.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, component libraries, responsive UI, and modern prototyping workflows.
• Strong collaboration experience with engineering, PM, and marketing teams.
• Track record of shipping production-ready designs informed by research and usability insight.
• Comfortable owning client communication, presenting creative rationale, and responding to feedback constructively.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
• Coach-like mindset — able to mentor peers and advocate for best practices without heavy process.
• Required: Applicants must include a public or shareable Figma design URL showcasing a project they personally led or completed (case study preferred).

• Operate with async-first communication (Slack, Loom, Notion) plus weekly live client touchpoints.
