    A FinTech startup is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and take charge of redefining financial technology solutions.

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Work closely with internal virtualization operations and engineering teams to gather requirements and build as well as deploy appropriate tools; provide technical leadership in the development, integration, etc.
    • Offer input on the overall technology plan for the organization, ensuring specific technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the network security technical infrastructure; collaborate and work effectively with different technology teams and vendors delivering complete networking solutions.
    • Give expert advice and guidance to carry out plans and procedures; ensure product development process adherence, performance, and budget targets are met.
    • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, video conferencing, and other hardware components.
    • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
    • Administer system/network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches.

     

    Requirements:

     

    • At least 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
    • Comfortable working in a ticket-based workflow.
    • Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD processes.
    • Experience with deploying and administering monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Prometheus, and Sentry.
    • Customer service oriented - ability to demonstrate ownership of the customer service experience.
    • Demonstrate self-learning capabilities, taking initiative in a fast-paced/quickly changing environment. 
    • Ability to collaborate, communicate, and work with other Infrastructure team members.
    • Ability to demonstrate inquisitive and proactive troubleshooting.
    • Security-mindset, general understanding of cybersecurity principles.
