Candidates must be based in Lviv. Work is remote.

Required experience:

• 4 + years of experience in project management within an outsourced or product IT company;
• Proven track record of delivering multiple successful projects (preferably in web, mobile);
• Technical understanding gained through experience or education in development, QA, or business analysis.

Required skills:

• Ability to manage the full delivery lifecycle — from pre-sale/discovery to release and post-launch support;
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and documentation management, including maintaining structured project documentation, roadmaps, and delivery reports;
• Experience with project tracking and planning tools, such as Gantt charts, burndown charts, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics;
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum principles (experience with Waterfall is a plus);
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on mindset;
• Strong leadership and communication skills — able to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain client confidence;
• Risk management expertise: able to identify potential issues early, assess their impact, and develop effective mitigation plans;
• Proactive and ownership-driven mindset: takes initiative, proposes improvements, and drives decisions rather than waiting for direction;
• Business-oriented thinking: understands how PM decisions impact client goals, budgets, and company success;
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills;
• Participation in HR-related processes — onboarding, performance reviews, salary reviews, and offboarding;
• Involvement in recruitment — interviewing, evaluating, and selecting candidates for project roles;
• Initiating and managing termination processes where necessary;
• Experience with financial coordination — preparing or verifying invoices, tracking project profitability, and supporting financial transparency;
• Upper-Intermediate / Advanced English, both verbal and written.

Would be a plus:

• Project management certification (PMI, CSM, PSM, etc.);
• Experience working with multi-team or complex projects;
• Technical or engineering degree.

Responsibilities:

• The primary goal is to ensure each project’s success — for the client, the company, and the team;
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with client expectations;
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and accountability;
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address risks before they escalate;
• Control budget, timelines, and quality to deliver predictable results;
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and recurring status meetings;
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction;
• Act as the main communication bridge between the client and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust;
• Support the company’s overall growth through continuous improvement, feedback, and innovation.

Required skills:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in software development, including complex, multi-team or multi-stream projects;
• Ability to manage the full delivery lifecycle — from pre-sale and discovery to release and post-launch support;
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development, architecture, integrations, dependencies, and technical risks;
• Proven ability to work with ambiguity, changing requirements, priorities, and complex dependencies;
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills, including difficult conversations, negotiations, and escalations;
• Strong leadership and people management skills — able to resolve conflicts, address performance issues, and build team accountability;
• Advanced risk management and problem-solving skills, including experience recovering projects that are off track;
• Strong financial and business awareness — budgets, profitability, forecasting, staffing, and the commercial impact of delivery decisions;
• High level of ownership and autonomy — able to make decisions and handle complex situations without constant escalation;
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and project planning practices, with proficiency in Jira and Confluence;
• Experience participating in recruitment and HR processes, including interviews, performance reviews, and team changes;
• Advanced English, including the ability to independently lead complex client conversations.

Would be a plus:

• Previous experience in a technical role (Software Engineer, QA, BA, etc.);
• Technical or engineering degree;
• Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, etc.);
• Experience managing multiple projects or accounts;
• Experience with account growth or identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of project success from delivery, client, financial, and team perspectives;
• Lead complex projects with multiple teams, workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies;
• Establish structure and processes for new, ambiguous, or problematic projects;
• Manage scope, priorities, timelines, budget, risks, and client expectations;
• Own client communication, including scope negotiations, difficult conversations, and escalations;
• Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation and project recovery plans;
• Manage project financial performance, including budget, profitability, forecasting, and staffing efficiency;
• Work closely with technical teams to understand estimates, dependencies, constraints, and technical risks;
• Lead teams, build accountability, and handle performance and communication issues;
• Participate in pre-sales and discovery, including estimates, team composition, risks, and delivery approach;
• Mentor less experienced PMs and contribute to improving the company’s delivery practices.
