Who we are: We are an emerging cybersecurity startup seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manual QA Engineer to lead and execute our testing activities. If you are passionate about quality, meticulous in your approach, and eager to build a comprehensive QA procedure, let’s cooperate. 

Responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyze software requirements.
2. Decompose and break down requirements into testable components.
3. Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
4. Execute manual testing activities for web applications.
5. Report, track, and verify defects.
6. Build and maintain a QA knowledge base.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging QA technologies.
    

Requirements:

1. 1−2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
2. Proven ability to manage QA projects independently.
3. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
4. Experience developing and executing manual test suites for web applications.
5. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and understanding of HTTP protocols.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
8. Intermediate English proficiency.
9. Experience in test planning, estimation, and review activities.
10. Ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
11. Work REQUIRE irregular work schedule (you need to be available on demand during late hours, there will be overtimes)

Your Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain Automation Tests – Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable test scripts using Java Selenide or Selenium for web applications.
• Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage – Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure thorough testing.
• Execute & Optimize Tests – Implement and run automated test cases to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of our web-based applications.
• Defect Identification & Resolution – Detect, report, and collaborate with developers to fix issues efficiently.
• Improve & Innovate – Continuously enhance test automation strategies and keep up with the latest industry trends.
• Participate in Agile Processes – Engage in test planning, estimation, and review sessions.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Experience – At least 1 year of commercial experience as an AQA Engineer or a similar role.
• Java Expertise – Strong proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Selenide or Selenium Knowledge – Hands-on experience in automation frameworks for web applications.
• Page Object Model (POM) Mastery – Proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable test automation solutions using POM.
• Web Technologies – Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – A keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
• Strong Team Collaboration – Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
