Job Summary
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to build and maintain automated tests, perform hands-on manual testing, and ensure high quality across web, API, and mobile applications. Automation-focused role (70% automation and 30% manual), including QA documentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional QA experience, ideally with SaaS products, including ERP or CRM systems or a fast-paced product environment.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing and scripting.
- Knowledge of browser-based testing for responsive web apps and component-driven UIs.
- Ability to write clear bug reports and test documentation that helps devs move fast.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions).
- Perform manual testing for complex, edge-case, and exploratory scenarios.
Test mobile applications (iOS & Android).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust automation test suites for web and API layers (e.g. Cypress, Postman).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create test plans and strategies for regression, smoke, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers, QAs and product owners to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
- Continuously improve QA practices, frameworks, and tools across the engineering teams.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and raise issues with clear documentation.
- Create and maintain clear QA documentation, including test cases, test plans, checklists, and testing reports.
- You will participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project.

What do you have- At least 4 years of experience with Rails.
- Proficient in Backend: you have at least three years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails (most important), ideally 3-4 years.
- Frontend: Vanilla JavaScript, Hotwire with StimulusJS & Turbo a bit.
- Knowledge of Data Stores: Postgres and Redis; Sidekiq; S3.
- Experience with Stimulus, TailwindCSS.
