• Функціональне та регресійне тестування фронтенду веб-застосунків на всіх етапах SDLC

• Створення та ведення тестової документації (TestRail, Confluence)

• Репортинг та супровід багів

Що важливо для нас:

• 2+ роки досвіду у тестуванні веб-застосунків

• Досвід роботи з Chrome DevTools, Postman, Figma, Jira/Confluence, TestRail

• Знання основ клієнт-серверної архітектури та інтеграції фронтенду з бекендом

• Розуміння релізного менеджменту та вміння приймати рішення щодо деплою змін

• Мови:

• Українська – вільне володіння

Croco Games is a company specializing in the development of online slot games. We are seeking a Team Lead Backend Developer who will lead the development of a high-performance, scalable server infrastructure while defining the company’s best practices and technical strategy. You will be responsible for developing and scaling the server infrastructure for online slot games and related gaming services. You will define the technical strategy and best development practices, acting as a key link between the backend team, DevOps engineers, and other departments.
 

Responsibilities:
— Develop and implement the server-side architecture for online slot games with consideration for high loads and scalability
— Write secure and optimized APIs (REST / WebSocket) for client-server communication
— Optimize system performance to handle high traffic and numerous simultaneous connections
— Work with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases. Design data schemas with a focus on performance and scalability
— Coordinate the implementation of microservice architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
— Set up CI/CD (GitLab, ArgoCD, or similar tools) for automated testing and deployment
— Ensure the system meets security and data protection requirements
— Organize work processes, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices
— Lead, mentor, and support the backend development team effectively
— Work closely with game designers, frontend teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless system integration
 

Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience in backend development for high-load systems, preferably within slot gaming, gambling, or related industries
— Deep knowledge of Node.js with proven experience in building high-load server applications
— Practical experience with NestJS, both RESTful API and WebSocket implementations
— Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and a solid understanding of building scalable data storage solutions
— Knowledge of microservice architecture, containerization Kubernetes / Docker, and basic cloud services AWS
 

Additional Requirements for Team Lead:
Leadership and Management
— Experience in conducting technical interviews and evaluating candidates
— Familiarity with Agile methodologies and task management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
— Skills in conflict resolution and conducting regular performance reviews
 

Architectural Skills
— Experience in designing and documenting scalable server architectures
— Knowledge of design patterns and the principles of SOLID, KISS, DRY, YAGNI for writing modular and maintainable code
— Understanding of event-driven architectures and working with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)

Development Process Management
— Implementing unified standards within the team (linting, code style, testing)
— Organizing CI/CD pipelines along with unit, integration, and performance testing (Jest)
— Utilizing monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) to track system health
 

Bonus Skills:
— Experience with Go or C++ for building high-performance services
— Knowledge of analytics-oriented databases (ClickHouse or similar)
— Implementation of AI algorithms for personalization and analytics

• Implement animations using Spine and tweening techniques to ensure seamless integration and smooth performance
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure animations align with the game’s style and mechanics.
• Create engaging visual effects that enhance gameplay and boost player engagement
• Optimize animations for mobile devices to maintain high performance across various platforms
• Maintain consistency in animation style and quality across multiple projects
• Stay updated with the latest trends in animation and slot game visuals
   

Requirements:

• + 2 years of experience in animating slot games or similar casual/mobile games
• Proficient in Spine for 2D skeletal animation and familiar with tweening techniques for smooth transitions and effects
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and easing
• Ability to create smooth, dynamic animations that enhance the gameplay experience
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within technical constraints
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian
   

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of additional animation software such as After Effects
• Familiarity with AI tools for automating parts of the animation process

• Experience using AI-based creative tools like MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and typography
• Ability to adapt to different art styles and follow existing design guidelines
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality work within deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment
• Familiarity with optimization assets for mobile devices and understanding of game performance constraints
• Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian

Bonus Skills

• Experience with animation tools like Spine, After Effects, or similar software.
