The mission of a Frontend Developer is to turn UI/UX Figma Designs into responsive, advanced, user-friendly web experiences using Liquid, JS, HTML and CSS. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, detail-oriented and passionate environment this role is right for you.

Outcomes

• Turn Figma Files into Shopify/CheckoutChamp* Web Experiences with minimal supervision, delivering pixel-perfect designs with brand consistency
• Work on UI/UX performance optimization, ensuring fast load times and smooth user experiences.
• Ensure code consistency and simplicity across all systems and experience 
• Implement responsive designs that work flawlessly across all devices and browsers

*CheckoutChamp is a new platform we utilize, previous experience is not required

 

Technical Competencies

• Shopify Expertise: Deep knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid templating, and the Shopify ecosystem
• JavaScript Proficiency: Strong skills in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
• CSS Mastery: Advanced understanding of CSS3, SCSS/SASS, and responsive design principles
• AI Integration: Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance programming efficiency
• Speed: Ability work efficiently and meet deadlines consistently without compromising for quality
• Proactivity: Anticipates challenges and proposes solutions before problems arise
• Efficiency: Optimizes workflows and resources to deliver maximum value with minimum waste

Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of front-end development experience, preferably in eCommerce
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your Shopify and front-end development capabilities
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and understanding of conversion rate optimization
• Exceptional communication skills in a remote-first environment
