    Hiring is broken. Traditional recruiters charge 20–25% of annual salary (easily $20k+ per hire), while startups burn time and money waiting months to fill critical roles.

     

    At TrustyRecruit, we’re building a flat-fee, fast-hiring recruitment agency that delivers pre-vetted designers, developers, and support specialists in 7–14 days. No percentages. No stress.

     

    We’ve validated the model and are now building our first client base. To accelerate growth, we’re looking for a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) who will focus on selling our services directly to companies.

     

     

     

    What You’ll Do 🚀

     

     

    As our CBDO, you’ll be 100% focused on B2B client acquisition. Your job is not about candidates — it’s about building strong relationships with companies who need talent.

     

    • Identify and target potential clients (startups, SaaS, scaleups, and tech-enabled businesses).
    • Sell TrustyRecruit services to founders, CTOs, HR managers, and hiring decision-makers.
    • Build and manage a sales pipeline: prospecting, outreach, pitching, follow-ups, and closing deals.
    • Develop a repeatable outbound strategy on LinkedIn, email, and through partnerships.
    • Work with the Founder to shape pricing offers, proposals, and contracts.
    • Provide feedback from clients to improve our services and ensure we stay competitive.
    • Be the face of TrustyRecruit in front of companies, positioning us as the smarter alternative to agencies.

     

     

     

    What We’re Looking For 🎯

     

     

    • 5+ years of B2B sales / business development experience (preferably SaaS, recruitment, HR tech, or professional services).
    • Strong network or ability to build one in the startup/scaleup ecosystem.
    • Proven ability to sell services to companies and close deals.
    • Skilled communicator who can pitch to founders and executives.
    • Excellent English, written + spoken.
    • Comfortable with the early-stage hustle — you’ll be building systems, not just following them.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset: ambitious, proactive, and excited about being on the founding team.

     

     

     

    Compensation 💡

     

    We’re fully transparent:

     

    • This is an early-stage role → no base salary.
    • Commission on each client you bring in + potential equity/partnership as we scale.
    • Once recurring revenue stabilizes, we’ll transition you into a paid leadership role with salary + performance bonuses.

     

    This is a role for someone who wants to co-build and share in the upside, not just “take a job.”
