We're looking for a hands-on YouTube creator who has already built a channel, knows how to grow one, and is ready to be the face and engine behind PocketCard's video presence while also finding and partnering with the right bloggers and UGC creators to amplify the brand.
This is not a management role. This is a do-it-yourself creator role for someone who picks up a camera, hits record, edits, posts, and grows.

Responsibilities
YouTube — You Build It, You Grow It 
 

• Launch PocketCard's YouTube channel from scratch and own it end-to-end
• Develop a content strategy tailored to US budget-conscious lifestyle audiences
• Personally film, appear on camera, script, edit, and publish videos — no waiting for a production team
• Create both long-form content and YouTube Shorts
• Optimize every video for SEO and discoverability — titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, chapters
• Grow the subscriber base through consistent publishing, smart formats, and genuine personality
• Analyze performance in YouTube Studio — watch time, CTR, retention, growth — and adjust accordingly
• Stay on top of US YouTube trends and test new formats continuously

• Repurpose YouTube content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X)
• Adapt formats for each platform (Shorts → Reels → TikTok clips)
• Maintain a content calendar across platforms
• Write on-brand copy for US audiences

Proactively search for and identify bloggers, UGC creators, and micro-influencers in the personal finance and lifestyle space
Reach out, build relationships, and negotiate collaboration terms, deliverables, usage rights, and fees
Brief creators on brand tone, campaign goals, and content formats
Review and approve content before it goes live
 

• Build and maintain an ongoing network of creator partners
• Track partnership performance and refine the creator mix based on results

Requirements
Proven experience creating and growing a YouTube channel — show us what you've built (links required)
 

• Comfortable and confident on camera — natural, engaging, and authentic
• Hands-on with filming and editing — you don't need a crew to make great content
• Experience working with bloggers or UGC creators — outreach, negotiation, briefing
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and the platform algorithm
• Excellent written and spoken English (US), strong natural tone-of-voice
• Cultural fluency — US trends, memes, platform dynamics, what resonates with real people
• Familiarity with tools: YouTube Studio, CapCut, Canva, native analytics

Nice to Have

• Experience in personal finance, fintech, or lifestyle content
• Existing network of creators or bloggers in the US market
• Familiarity with UGC platforms (Billo, Insense, JoinBrands, etc.)
• Experience with TikTok and Instagram Reels as primary formats

What This Role Is Not

•  Not for someone who "plans content" but doesn't create it
•  Not for someone who needs a full production team to make a video
•  Not a strategy-only or oversight role
