We are currently looking for a Data Analyst for Spinlab.
Location: Remote

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large volumes of game and player data to identify patterns, trends, and dynamics, and turn them into clear business conclusions.
- Translate findings into practical recommendations for product improvements, highlighting what works, what doesn’t, and what opportunities to explore
- Perform deep-dive investigations into performance anomalies or game features to explain what happened and why
- Collaborate with game designers, product managers, and developers to shape hypotheses and validate them through experimentation.
- Support development and testing of predictive models (e.g., player LTV, churn, bonus optimization).
- Communicate complex insights in a simple, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Help define metrics frameworks for new products or features, expanding high-level requirements with your analytical thinking and product insights.
- Build dashboards and reports to help stakeholders monitor key KPIs and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, preferably in the gaming or tech industry.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to find the story in the data: uncovering trends and explaining them in clear business terms.
- Strong experience in SQL (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or similar), and comfort working with large datasets.
- Solid knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Practical experience with Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with statistical testing, experimentation, and predictive modeling techniques.
- University degree in mathematics / computer science / technology / engineering
- English B2+
Will be a plus:- Knowledge of the iGaming industry or understanding of slot game mechanics
- Ability to look at games from players’ point of view.
- Product mindset: the ability to go beyond numbers and propose actionable solutions that make an impact.

It was founded in November 2021 by a team of reporters and editors who were fired from the Kyiv Post for defending editorial independence, in partnership with a media consultancy company Jnomics. Today it’s a team of around 80 people based mostly in Kyiv. Publishing in English, we serve as Ukraine’s voice in the world and the world’s window into Ukraine.

We’ll have a match if you have:
- 3+ years of professional experience as an Account Manager.
- Fluency in English (C1+), both written and verbal.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Google Analytics (as there is a lot of work with programmatic advertising).
- Professional experience with HubSpot, Notion, and Google Workspace.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability within your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Communication with clients, from the first email/call to closing the deal.
- Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with our customers.
- Working with advertising on KI’s website, and coordination between teams (especially editorial, SMM, and the finance department).
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Anticipate and prevent potential customer challenges before they arise.
