Position Overview: 

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at The Good Face Project, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for our cloud-based SaaS products. You will play a key role in building scalable and performant frontend applications using React.js, while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving UI/UX challenges, and is passionate about clean, maintainable code, component-driven architecture, and building great user experiences. 

What you’ll be doing: 

● Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and user-focused interfaces using React.js and modern frontend tools 

● Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code 

● Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and support seamless product functionality 

● Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and thoughtful documentation 

● Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our frontend infrastructure 

● Participate in cross-functional planning, helping scope and deliver features efficiently 

● Continuously explore new frontend technologies, patterns, and best practices to keep our stack modern and maintainable 

What you’ll bring to the team: 

● 5+ years of experience building web applications with React.js and modern JavaScript, with Redux for state management 

● Solid hands-on experience with styled-components and SASS ● Experience working with REST APIs (axios) 

● Exposure to real-time features and WebSocket integrations 

● Understanding of performance monitoring and error tracking (e.g., Sentry) 

● Comfort with Git-based workflows and CI/CD environments 

● A strong eye for UX/UI details, and a user-centric mindset

You will play a key role in developing scalable APIs, optimizing database systems, and enhancing system performance while collaborating cross-functionally with product, data, and infrastructure teams. What you’ll be doing: 

● Design and implement scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI preferred) 

● Develop robust APIs and contribute to architecture decisions across the platform 

● Work with both relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases 

● Build and optimize data logging pipelines and backend infrastructure 

● Ensure system scalability, availability, and high performance 

● Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical solutions 

● Use tools like Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka for asynchronous workflows and data pipelines 

What you’ll bring to the team: 

● 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python 

● Strong experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Celery, and SQLAlchemy 

● Experience working with AWS cloud services such as S3 and CloudWatch 

● Solid understanding of scalable system design, API best practices, and SDLC 

● Familiarity with tools like Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka for distributed processing 

● Comfortable optimizing database queries and managing load under pressure 

● Clear communication and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams 

● Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver with an ownership mindset Nice to have: 

● Experience with ClickHouse, Airflow, ElasticSearch, or modern DWH systems 

● Familiarity with Swagger (OpenAPI), Helm, and microservices-based architecture 

● Monitoring and visualization experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Cosmetic Chemistry and Regulations Data Analyst to join our dynamic Engineering team and contribute to our continued success. Position Overview: 

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering fresh cosmetic chemistry and regulatory data and insights into our core product in a repeatable and scalable way. You will be responsible for working together with the Cosmetic Chemist, Product, and Engineering teams to outline optimal data refresh flows, create systems/automations for monitoring the sources Good Face refers to, and to clean up and restructure the data so it becomes usable. By leveraging excellent analytical and process engineering skills, you will aim for process repeatability, rather than “one-and-done” data sourcing and analyses, enabling the delivery of excellent new and evolved product features while decreasing the amount of manual manipulation and data input required from the Cosmetic Chemist team, and from our End Users.

What you’ll be doing: 

● Scrape data from public sources of Cosmetics Regulations and ingredient inventories. 

● Clean, normalize, and perform basic analysis using Python libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) 

● Store structured and unstructured data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB. 

● Collaborate with product and analytics teams to support regulatory and data enrichment projects and processes. What you’ll bring to the team: 

● Proficiency in Python for scraping. 

● Experience working with REST APIs 

● Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB 

● Strong data analysis skills using Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.) 

● Experience working with scientific or regulatory datasets 

● Familiarity with basic ETL processes 

● Knowledge of automation/orchestration tools 

● English language proficiency
