Since 1994, TeamDev has developed proprietary software products designed to enhance developer productivity and optimize workflows. Our flagship solutions — JxBrowser, DotNetBrowser, and MoBrowser — are libraries that enable seamless integration of web components into Java, .NET, and C++ applications. 

 

Our portfolio also includes AI-powered products such as WebSpellChecker, a grammar and spelling correction suite, and Pure Photos, a background removal app.

 

We apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles in practice, and this expertise is embodied in our Spine Event Engine — an open-source framework for high-load applications available on GitHub.

 

We forge lasting partnerships, offering support that extends far beyond our products. As a result, our team is directly involved in the development of solutions for leaders in different domain areas, such as network security and bioinformatics.

We are deeply committed to knowledge sharing, ensuring the ongoing professional development of our team and contributing to the advancement of the wider tech community. In 2007, we launched a student internship program, first focused on Java and later expanded to Go and Cloud technologies. In 2019, we strengthened our educational mission by starting a series of DDD meetups, you can find at dddi.dev.

 

Originally founded in Kharkiv, TeamDev now also has an office in Lisbon, Portugal and work-and-relax hubs in Bar, Montenegro and Yaremche, Ukraine. Our work model is remote first with the possibility to work from any location in Europe.

    WebSpellChecker offers a portfolio of turnkey AI-powered text correction solutions for engineers, businesses, and individuals. Our core product, WProofreader, is available as a software development kit (SDK) and a browser extension, which can be deployed as a SaaS or on-premise solution.

     

    We are looking for a Business Analyst to help us continuously evolve our product, keeping it aligned with industry trends while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.

     

    What will you do?

    • Conduct competitor and market research to identify opportunities for product improvement.
    • Analyze client requests and market feedback to define underlying problems and how they can be solved.
    • Collaborate with product teams to define and document clear requirements and specifications for new features. 
    • Prepare well-structured development tasks with clear acceptance criteria to ensure the engineering team has all the necessary context.
    • Maintain internal documentation for product logic, feature behavior, and configuration options.
    • Support the creation and updating of client-facing documentation.

     

     Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
    • Upper-Intermediate level of English.
    • Proven experience in writing technical documentation.
    • Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
    • Understanding of how AI, particularly transformer-based language modes models, works.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

     

    Would be a plus

    • Experience working with payment systems (Stripe) and managing subscription-based product logic.
    • Prior experience in an enterprise software environment (especially with API/SDK products), or in the linguistics or AI domains.
    • A degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related technical or analytical field.
    • Project management experience. 

     

    Technology Scope

    While you won't be coding, a high-level understanding of our stack is beneficial for effective team communication:

    • Frontend: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS, DOM.
    • Backend: C++, PHP (Laravel), Java, and REST APIs.
    • AI & NLP: In-house AI models and integrations with third-party services like AWS Bedrock.
    • Infrastructure & Data: AWS, MySQL, and payment gateway integrations (Stripe).
    • Browser integrations: Chrome, Firefox, and MS Edge extensions.

    What you will do

    • Manage the full sales cycle: engage leads, conduct demos, negotiate contracts, and nurture client relationships.
    • Collaborate with the product team to resolve customer issues.
    • Track KPIs and report on sales performance.
    • Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new growth opportunities.

       

    Knowledge and skills required

    • 2+ years of tech/SaaS sales or account management experience.
    • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency with CRM and other sales-related software.
    • Self-motivated and target-driven.

       

    Would be a plus

    • Experience with technical products (SDK, API).
    • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, linguistics or a related field.
