We are looking for a skilled, creative, and passionate Video Editor who wants to work with a self-motivated and fully distributed startup team. 

We are seeking a talented video editor with experience in creating TikTok and YouTube Shorts content to help fuel explosive growth across our various social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more. The Video Editor will work closely with the Social Media Manager to create short-form video content tailored for social media.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for impact. You should have experience in video editing and optimization. You should be enthusiastic about the short-form video content and social media, and constantly seek out new and creative ideas to better serve our viewers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Marketing team to produce vertical video content optimized for platforms like TikTok, YouTube shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube, Snapchat, and more.
• Edit long-form and short-form marketing videos like those for campaigns, trailers and community updates.
• Bring creative concepts to life with pacing, music, effects, and storytelling 
• Ensure content aligns with the visual and tonal direction of the Takadao brand.
• Stay up to date with editing trends, platform algorithms, and viral formats to inform creative choices.
• Work with other designers and editors to maintain a consistent visual language across content.
• Maintain clean project files, naming conventions, and organized structures for efficient collaboration.
• A strong passion for and understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and formatting nuances.
• Ability to handle post-production and uploading of Takadao content.
• Contributing to branding, editing, optimization, and distribution of our video content, thumbnails, and YouTube platform.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment while providing a high-quality viewing experience.

Job Requirements: 

• 2+ years of experience video editing 
• Great editorial storytelling skills; exciting, clear, and concise communication in editing
• Ability to learn and collaborate with other teams  to create and translate marketing initiatives into a cohesive brand voice — using both pre-scripted and real-time opportunities for captivating content creation
• Excellent time management and project management skills; strong multitasking ability
• Ability to effectively envision project goals and ideate concepts that synthesize character traits, community interest, and social media trends to create engaging, shareable, on-brand content
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines at the expected quality
• Manage and oversee all the technical aspects of video production
• Follow the company’s brand guidelines
• Experience using video and editing software and equipment
• Creative thinker
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc
• A deep understanding of all editorial software platforms and social media applications is a plus, as well as a natural aptitude and understanding of software adjunct to the editorial process and final product output, e.g. sound editing, special effects, motion graphics

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst Intern to support the research, analysis, and optimization of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) investment strategies. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the fast-evolving world of blockchain-based finance, including yield optimization, staking, liquidity provision, and risk assessment- through a Shariah-aligned lens.

You will work closely with the core strategy and analytics team to evaluate DeFi protocols, model performance metrics, and assist in developing sustainable, ethical, and compliant DeFi investment frameworks.

 🔍Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial and on-chain analysis of DeFi protocols, including DEXs, staking, lending, and yield aggregators.
   
• Evaluate APY, risk, and liquidity metrics across various DeFi strategies and platforms.
  
  Assist in creating financial models for yield projections, risk-return analysis, and scenario testing.
   
• Support the team in monitoring portfolio performance, protocol updates, and ecosystem developments.
   
• Research and summarize emerging trends in DeFi, tokenomics, and restaking mechanisms.
   
• Contribute to reports and presentations summarizing strategy performance and optimization recommendations.
   
• Apply Islamic finance principles to assess compliance and identify ethical DeFi opportunities.
   
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely and present findings during weekly strategy reviews.
  
   

✅ Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
   
• Minimum 6 months of experience trading or investing in DeFi (e.g., staking, yield farming, or liquidity provision).
   
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, decentralized exchanges, and token economics.
   
• Proficiency with DeFi analytics tools (e.g., DefiLlama, DeBank, Zapper, Dune Analytics, or similar).
   
• Basic knowledge of Islamic finance principles and Shariah-compliant investment structures.
   
• Solid quantitative and analytical skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
   
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
   
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
   

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience building or using yield models, dashboards, or Dune queries.
   
• Familiarity with Python, Excel, or Google Sheets modeling.
   
• Awareness of liquid staking, restaking, and yield optimization protocols (e.g., Lido, EigenLayer, Yearn, Beefy).
   
• Interest in ethical or impact-focused DeFi innovation.
