Job responsibilities:
- Providing L1-L3 technical support to users and partners via email, web conferencing, and the phone
- Analyzing, clarifying, and resolving customer queries
- Investigating technical issues, troubleshooting and diagnosing root causes
- Researching, deploying, and configuring different environments with specific software and hardware parts
- Composing knowledge base articles and technical documentation
- Collaborating with other teams
Required:
- Fluent English (both spoken and written) and the ability to communicate effectively in English via both phone and e-mail
- Understanding and basic knowledge of storage, networking, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with administrating/maintaining Windows or Linux based environments
- Confident communication skills — work with globally distributed customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and innovative thinking (masters degree in googling)
Preferred:
- Experience in providing support to customers on their live production systems
- Experience in working with storage and backup infrastructures
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V
