We are looking for Magento developer to support a project for our client, known and respected company in the NYC jewellery industry. The list of tasks can be expanded with activities outside of Magento if this is interesting to the candidate.
The project is a Magento (V.1.9) based retail online store - the major sales channel for our customer's company with potential Migration to Magento V2. The online store is constantly improved and developed to provide modern features and ensure positive user experience.

Technology stack: Magento.1.9.01, Magento 2, PHP, JavaScript, Query, AJAX, JSONP, SQL

• Able work quickly and effectively in a dynamic development environment
• Able to investigate, estimate tasks and issues and provide complete solutions in both frontend and backend areas

Responsibilities:

• Analyse, estimate and develop new features on Magento 1.9 with potential migration to Magento v2
• Participate in the evaluation, design and planning of the system development
• Monitor and react to the issues reported by clients during the working hours 
• Assist in other skills-based development activities

Requirements:

• 3+ year as Magento 1.x and Magneto 2.x developer on complex projects is must have
• Strong knowledge of JS/HTML5/CSS3 and responsive design
• Skills to study and investigate API documentation  
• Good understanding of cross-browser issues
• Understanding of client-side code, debugging and debugging tools 
• Ability to analyse and investigate issues reported by clients, communicate with clients
• Ability to deliver high-quality work at a fast development pace
• Attention to details 
• Good communications skills
• Upper Intermediate English level 
• Experience in Wordpress/Angular (will be a plus)
• Ability to work in EST time zone or in shifted schedule  (will be a plus)

In this role you will become the part of the experienced cross-functional team to design and develop a responsive, high-performance and visually appealing web application. The ideal candidate has a passion for innovation, attention to details and commitment to delivering quality solutions.

Our project is a financial planning platform designed to help businesses manage their budgets and cash flow effectively. This solution allows companies to connect their bank accounts and payment systems, import and categorise transactions, analyse revenue and expense patterns, manage invoices, plan short- and long-term business strategies, consolidate financial data and prepare reporting for banks and other interested parties.

Project Technologies and Tools:

• Development process is managed in accordance with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
• Technologies used: Python/Django for BE and Angular for FE.

• Experience with version control (Git or Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good communication level of English.
