    Senior Project Manager

Full Remote · Countries of Europe or Ukraine · 5 years of experience · C1 - Advanced

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who can manage complex work across people, processes, and business goals, someone who can hold the big picture and connect everyday work to measurable results for clients, teams, and the company.

    About the Company

Since 2006, we’ve been helping organizations build complex custom software products, acting as long-term collaborators rather than a traditional vendor. We invest in people and learning, value honest feedback and transparency, and operate as a distributed team across the U.S. and Europe with a strong sense of trust, ownership, and responsibility.

    About the Role

We’re opening this role to bring in a senior Project Manager who can fully own one or two complex projects and connect them to the broader business system. You’ll oversee the entire project structure so that work is manageable and clearly tied to client goals and our mission. The role is remote and requires working hours that overlap with U.S.-based clients (primarily EST time zone).

    What You’ll Do

    • Own one or two complex projects end to end: goals, scope, timelines, risks, team, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
    • Design and run clear, lightweight processes so work is visible, predictable, and fully integrated into company systems rather than managed in isolation.
    • Translate business and product strategy into concrete priorities and roadmaps for the team, and keep communication clear between the client, the team, and internal stakeholders.
    • Build trust-based relationships with clients, act as their main partner, and identify upsell or expansion opportunities when they make sense.
    • Steer project economics (revenue, margin), monitor performance, and adjust plans proactively.
    • Create and sustain a feedback-driven environment with retrospectives, learning practices, and regular knowledge sharing.
    • Support hiring and onboarding for your projects so new team members join with clarity and realistic expectations.

    What Success Looks Like

Within your first months you’re fully onboarded, trusted by the client and team, and have built enough structure so leaders can step back from day-to-day control. By six to twelve months, you’re clearly “on top of things”: processes are integrated and transparent, finances are stable, escalations are low, satisfaction is high, and you’re recognized as the primary point of contact leading healthy, evolving projects.

    What You’ll Need

    Skills & experience

    • Proven project management experience in software or digital products, including complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
    • English at C1 level or higher; you lead client calls, negotiate, and write independently for U.S.-based stakeholders.
    • Hands-on use of modern project management approaches and tools.
    • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and project economics.

    Mindset & behaviors

    • You connect strategy and execution and think in systems rather than isolated tasks.
    • You show high ownership, are structured yet adaptable, and stay calm under pressure.
    • You’re comfortable with candid feedback and see learning as part of daily work.

    What We Offer

    • Flexible, fully remote involvement from 80 to 160 hours per month (part-time or full-time).
    • Close collaboration with technical, operations, and senior leaders, with real influence on how projects and practices work.
    • A feedback-driven culture inspired by Teal and DDO principles, with regular retrospectives and learning practices.
    • The chance to lead complex software projects used by real customers, working with clients who expect close collaboration.
    • Quarterly commission tied to team and project performance, based on jointly set goals.

    Hiring Process

    1. First-round interview (~1h)
    2. Interview with Head of the Department (~2h)
    3. Founder conversation (~1h)
    4. Offer

This is our typical process, although specific steps or their order may change when needed.

    How to Apply

If this role fits your experience and the kind of work you want to be doing, send us your CV and a short note explaining:

    • A complex project you’ve managed (what made it complex and how you navigated it).
    • How you’ve helped a team connect their daily work to a bigger mission or business goal.

We look forward to hearing from you.
