Your work will directly improve how therapists and patients interact with data by building AI-driven features such as intelligent querying, smart assistants, and automation tools that save time and simplify daily work.
Job Description
As our AI Specialist, you’ll help expand the intelligence layer of our platform — the foundation that powers our AI features for therapists and patients. You’ll work on developing a language model for data queries, improving and maintaining our text-to-speech functionality, and building a booking assistant that simplifies patient scheduling.
We’ve already developed a session summary generator for therapists, powered by Gemini, and plan to introduce new AI helpers to make therapy workflows more efficient and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
Language Model for Queries
- Design and implement an AI system that understands therapist questions and retrieves meaningful insights from patient records.
- Integrate the model with internal databases to deliver natural-language answers quickly and accurately.
- Optimize the model for performance, scalability, and compliance within healthcare data standards.
Patient Booking Assistant
- Build and refine an AI-powered assistant that helps patients schedule appointments online seamlessly.
- Ensure reliability, intuitive flow, and smooth integration with the existing EHR system.
Maintain Text-to-Speech System
- Support and enhance our Whisper-based text-to-speech module to ensure high-quality audio performance.
- Monitor and maintain model accuracy, responsiveness, and integration across the application.
AI Feature Expansion
- Collaborate with the product team to define and prototype upcoming AI helpers for therapists.
- Ensure all AI implementations align with healthcare privacy, accuracy, and usability standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and applied AI.
- Familiarity with language model design, fine-tuning, and integration in production systems.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Ability to connect AI models with structured data (SQL or NoSQL) for dynamic query results.
- Experience maintaining or integrating text-to-speech or speech-processing systems (preferably Whisper).
- Understanding of healthcare data privacy standards (HIPAA or equivalent).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in healthcare, digital health, or therapy-focused applications.
- Familiarity with AI orchestration, conversational assistants, or multi-agent systems.
- Knowledge of deploying AI systems in cloud environments.
- Experience designing or improving end-user AI interfaces.
About Us
We’re building the next-generation electronic health record (EHR) system for therapists — combining smart automation with clinical reliability. Our platform helps therapists manage sessions, documentation, and scheduling while giving patients a smooth, intelligent experience.
Our goal is simple: make AI a helpful teammate for therapists, not another tool they have to manage.
