About the project: 
Our client is looking for a Shopify Developer to extend the project team that develops an e-commerce platform. The fast-growing team is based in Canada and Ukraine, and they are happy to have colleagues worldwide to carry out the project's mission. 
 
Required skills: 
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer; 
• Deep knowledge of Shopify platforms; 
• Experience in building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores; 
• Experience migrating data from other platforms to Shopify;
• Experience with theme customization; 
• Knowledge of Shopify REST API; 
• To be familiar with html5/CSS3, Jquery, Bootstrap; 
• English level — Intermediate or higher. 
 
Will be a plus: 

• Experience with Custom Applications development
• Experience with Magento 1; 
• Experience with PHP development;
• Experience with front and/or back-end development in other stacks.

Responsibilities: 
• Replatforming of a big e-commerce solution from scratch with defined functionality; 
• Participation in daily meetings (а classical Agile approach is used); 
• Collaboration with the product development team for estimation and delivery of improvements.

Now the main product is a BigData for sales professionals to identify, engage and close prospects, thanks to the prospecting platform, web extension, and API. The company’s customers range from SMBs to Enterprises, including Google, Dropbox, Uber, Microsoft, Facebook, etc.

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications. Using audio, text, and body language analysis, its’ helps sales teams close more deals by understanding their prospects’ underlying perceptions. At the core of a platform is a commercially proven Al engine powered by the latest data science advancements, allowing contextual multimodal analysis (Text + Video).

Required skills:
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python (e.g., Django, FastAPI);
• Experience with Python Celery and asynchronous programming in general;
• Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB);
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS);
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with message streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture;
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable Python applications;
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications;
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members;
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability;
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies.

• Sourcing and recruiting candidates using various platforms, such as databases and social media;

• Screening candidates' CVs and job applications;

• Assessing applicants' relevant experience and knowledge, professional and soft skills;

• Implementing and adhering to recruiting best practices;

• Maintaining and managing our candidates' database.
