- Fully remote with optional Kyiv office access. English level — B2+.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API tests using JavaScript and Playwright
• Build and improve automation frameworks and testing infrastructure
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
• Perform manual testing when necessary to validate complex flows
• Contribute to test strategy, coverage improvement, and QA best practices
• Set up reporting in TMS (TestRail, Zephyr)

REQUIREMENTS:

• B2+ English (for communication and technical documentation).
• Strong JavaScript knowledge and strong Playwright experience.
• Experience with UI and API testing tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD; experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git and version control.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform manual API testing using Postman (collections, environments, request chaining, validations)
• Validate REST APIs: request/response structure, status codes, business logic
• Create and maintain API test cases and checklists
• Perform basic UI testing to validate end-to-end flows
• Log, prioritize, and retest defects using Linear
• Conduct regression testing and support release validation
• Analyze requirements and participate in test planning
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers
• Maintain clear and structured QA documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

• B2+ English (written and spoken)
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (SDLC/STLC)
• Experience with API test scenarios for authentication (JWT, tokens)
• Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman/Swagger)
• Good understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
• Understanding of status codes and JSON structure
• Experience with bug tracking systems (Linear or similar)
• Basic understanding of Git
• Familiarity with browser DevTools
• Proactive and ownership-driven attitude

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of SQL (simple SELECT queries)
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Basic understanding of automation concepts
