Context

• Running mostly on AWS EKS, using SQS, RDS, CloudWatch, EC2, S3, Lambdas
• Infra as code: Terraform + Helmsman

 Tasks

• C5-related security hardening
• Restrict dev access to VPCs, Kubernetes, and production DB
• Improve log scanning, traceability, access control
• Move to immutable Docker images
• Public CVE registry + reduction
• Help with business continuity: DR, backups, documentation

 Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS cost optimization, Vanta, credential rotation, asset & vulnerability management

About the project

Our client is developing an advanced AI platform for real-time image and video processing. The system includes components for anomaly detection, object tracking, and generative image tasks. You’ll be working on both R&D and production-level tasks, helping to design, train, and deploy machine learning models.

The tech stack is modern and scalable, built on microservices with FastAPI, Docker, and MLflow for experiment tracking. You’ll be responsible for inference pipelines, training flows, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and train ML/DL models using TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Build and maintain inference pipelines in production
• Optimize model performance and latency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions

Tech stack:

• Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• MLflow, FastAPI
• Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in ML/AI
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning principles
• Experience with deploying and optimizing ML models in production
• Familiarity with building REST APIs (FastAPI or similar)

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Monitoring tools for ML models
• Participation in academic research or Kaggle competitions
