Description:

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer (Middle/Middle+) to join our partner’s team and help build scalable backend infrastructure with a focus on web applications, integrations, and high-load systems. You will work with modern frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, and Flask, integrating various APIs and services, including payment systems. Experience with AI/ML or LLM APIs will be a strong plus.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services, including payment gateways.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize and refactor code for scalability and performance.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.


Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, and Flask frameworks.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating payment systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or others).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace) will be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher (for communication with clients).

About the Project

We are starting a long-term collaboration with a client on a full-time front-end role.

This is a legacy project with a large existing codebase written without modern frameworks - no React, no Next.js.

The front-end is based on HTML, CSS (possibly SASS), and vanilla JavaScript.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Working with an existing legacy codebase.
• Implementing new features and maintaining existing ones.
• Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation according to provided designs.
• Optimizing and refactoring existing front-end code when necessary.
• Collaborating with other developers through Git-based workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience working with legacy codebases and ability to navigate complex structures.
• Proficiency with Git: branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and contributing via pull requests.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver pixel-perfect layouts.
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Upper-intermediate English or Ukrainian for communication with the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SASS/SCSS.
• Basic knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Gulp, etc.).
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
