About Us:

Selena Courier Service is a boutique, premium courier company based in London with 17+ years of experience delivering same-day and white-glove courier solutions. As we expand our online presence and SEO strategy, we're looking for a skilled and reliable freelance copywriter to create SEO-optimized website content, articles, and social media/blog posts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Write clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for:
  • Our website pages (e.g., Services, About, Contact, FAQ)
  • Industry-relevant blog articles
  • LinkedIn and Instagram post captions and long-form posts
• Follow Google’s SEO guidelines, including keyword placement, meta descriptions, and internal linking
• Use content briefs, keyword strategies, and formatting templates (we’ll provide tools and structure)
• Adapt tone to match our brand: professional, boutique, reliable

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience writing SEO content (please share portfolio or links)
• Understanding of Google’s ranking algorithm and on-page SEO best practices
• Ability to write about logistics, delivery, courier services, and related industries
• Strong research skills and ability to turn technical topics into easy-to-read content
• Comfortable collaborating via Trello, Google Docs, and email
• Excellent command of written English (UK style preferred)

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Experience with London-based businesses or service industries
• Familiarity with keyword research tools (e.g., Ubersuggest, SEMrush, or similar)
• Basic understanding of marketing funnels and calls to action

Project Scope:

• 4 articles per month (min) + occasional web page updates and post captions
• Paid per project or article (to be agreed based on experience)
• Long-term collaboration possible if quality and fit are aligned

Selena Courier Service is a boutique, high-quality courier company with 17 years of experience delivering excellence in London. We’re known for our personal approach, same-day and premium courier solutions, and now expanding into "Man and Van" services.

We plan routes manually using Google Sheets and Trello — no automated CRM systems — so strong map logic and adaptability are key. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and take ownership of exciting new service lines.

What Makes This Role Unique:

• Self-employed setup with performance-based OTE bonuses (on web sales, phone orders, and client accounts you build)
• Freedom to contribute ideas and grow your responsibilities — especially with our new "Man and Van" service
• Opportunity to shape internal processes and collaborate directly with the CEO
• Seasonal business closure during Christmas (estimated to be confirmed 1 month in advance 20 Dec – 4 Jan), plus 2 additional weeks of holiday by agreement

Key Responsibilities:

Courier & Route Coordination

• Plan and adjust delivery routes manually (training provided on UK roads & address logic)
• Communicate with drivers and clients in real-time
• Maintain up-to-date Trello boards and Google Sheets

Customer Communication & Admin

• Respond to delivery queries and updates
• Track order status, manage records, and ensure smooth delivery flow
• Support reporting and improvement of coordination processes

Sales & Marketing Support (Bonus Responsibility)

• Assist CEO in sales follow-up, generating leads, and closing orders
• Earn bonus commission on sales made via phone, website, and accounts you help grow
• Support occasional blog content, social media, or campaigns

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong organizational skills with ability to self-manage and prioritize
• Great with tools like Google Sheets, Trello, and basic online platforms
• Logical thinker who enjoys working with maps, addresses, and route planning
• Reliable communicator with excellent written/spoken English
• Comfortable working independently and within a small, dynamic team

Bonus If You Have:

• 2+ years in logistics, courier coordination, dispatch, or operations
• Admin or virtual assistant experience
• Background or interest in customer service and growth
• Understanding of London roads and delivery patterns

Role Details:

• 💼 Contract Type: Self-employed (No holiday/sick pay included)
• 💰 Compensation: Basic salary + performance bonuses (OTE)
• 🕒 Working Hours: Full-time (UK business hours )
• 📅 Holidays:
  • Seasonal break: 20 Dec – 4 Jan (business closed)
  • 2 additional weeks to be agreed with the manager
