    Our client, an eCommerce multibrand company, is looking for a Financial Controller to oversee and manage all financial aspects of voilechic.com and its related brands. In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy of financial records, develop strategies to optimize costs, and drive financial efficiency across the portfolio. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is integral to supporting the company's growth and achieving its ambitious goals.
     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain accurate financial records for all brands, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Perform monthly reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies.
    • Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all brands.
    • Share weekly reporting on financials, profits, company's health, tracking different financial metrics
    • Provide actionable financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.
    • Analyze expenses across all brands and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws, including Ontario and Quebec-specific regulations, for all entities.
    • Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with company goals across all brands.
    • Offer recommendations to improve financial performance and mitigate risks.

       

    About You:

    • Min. 2 years of experience with e-commerce companies that are selling on Amazon/Shopify/etc.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of Canadian tax laws, including Ontario/Quebec-specific requirements would be a plus but is not required.

    Role Overview
    As our Shopify Growth Expert, you will be responsible for optimizing our Shopify store, improving the customer journey, and driving revenue growth. You will implement data-driven strategies to increase conversion rates, boost order value, and maximize repeat purchases.

    Key Expectations within 6 Months:
    - Increase conversion rate by at least 25%
    - Grow average order value (AOV) by at least 20%
     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Shopify Optimization Enhance user experience, user journey and optimize website to maximize sales.
    • A/B Testing & CRO Implement split tests on landing pages, checkout flow, and product pages to drive conversions.
    • Sales Funnel Strategy Develop and execute strategies to increase order frequency, reduce cart abandonment, and improve upselling tactics.
    • Data Analysis Use tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, Hotjar, and heatmaps to track KPIs and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Marketing Collaboration Work closely with our marketing team to align store strategies with paid ads, email marketing, and retention campaigns.
       

    Must-Have Skills
    - 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations
    - Expert-level Shopify knowledge (themes, apps, integrations)
    - Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
    - Proven success in CRO, A/B testing, and increasing key metrics
    - Ability to analyze and act on customer data to drive growth
    Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus Points!)
    Familiarity with paid ads, SEO, or retention marketing
    Experience with TikTok Shop and emerging e-commerce platforms
    Knowledge of email automation tools like Klaviyo
