We’re looking for a product-minded, independent Lead Product Designer to take ownership of design across our mobile and web products — starting with RetouchMe (our flagship photo/video editing app) and expanding into upcoming AI-powered tools and B2B directions. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product Growth and CEO to shape our user experience, design systems, and product experiments that drive engagement and retention.
This is a hands-on role with strategic influence — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of Product Design, DesignOps, and Growth.
What you'll be driving
- Build, evolve, and document our design system across platforms
- Co-define and implement clear, scalable design processes
- Design high-impact flows and product experiments focused on activation, retention, and monetization
- Collaborate closely with product, analytics, marketing, and engineering teams
- Lead user-centered design in existing and new product initiatives (incl. B2B/AI tools)
- Grow a team of designers
In your first 6–12 months
- ✅ Deliver an updated cross-platform design system (3–4 months)
- 📘 Co-document design processes & rituals with Product (3 months)
- 📈 Improve activation & retention for RetouchMe via design-led experiments (6–9 months)
- 🚀 Design for 1–2 new product funnels or AI-enabled features (6–12 months)
- 🤝 Provide guidance and leadership to junior–senior designers if/when team expands
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in Product Design, incl. mobile-first B2C (and ideally B2B) products
- Experience building design systems and collaborating in cross-functional squads
- Track record of improving key product metrics via design
- Comfort with growth cycles: ideation → design → test → iterate
- Strong systems thinking and pragmatic decision-making
- Excellent communication in a remote-first culture
Nice-to-have
- Experience in AI-based interfaces, freemium models, or media tools
- Comfort navigating uncertainty and shaping strategy in early-stage teams
- Hands-on mentorship or team leadership experience
