We're hiring a Senior Account Manager to take full ownership of client accounts, lead SEO/AEO strategy, and build the kind of relationships that turn projects into long-term partnerships.
The Role
You own a portfolio of tech clients from day one. Onboarding, strategy, execution, reporting, retention. You're the person your clients call when something matters, and the person internally who makes sure nothing falls through.
You'll work directly with marketing leaders at funded startups and scaling tech companies. You're accountable for the numbers: traffic, rankings, AI visibility, conversions. If something's not working, you figure out why and fix it.
Strategy & Delivery
- Own end-to-end SEO/AEO strategy for a portfolio of global tech clients
- Drive performance across both traditional search and AI-powered discovery
- Stay ahead of what's changing in LLM search and bring new approaches to clients before they ask
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate across content, outreach, and community specialists
Client Ownership
- Lead onboarding, early delivery, and the path from pilot to long-term retainer
- Run weekly or bi-weekly client syncs and own all day-to-day communication
- Make performance data meaningful: translate traffic, rankings, and AI visibility into business outcomes that stakeholders actually care about
- Spot problems early, remove blockers, and step in directly when execution needs leadership
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow accounts
Operations
Requirements
- 5+ years in SEO and account management, ideally in an agency
- You've owned client relationships end-to-end and can point to accounts you grew or retained
- Deep understanding of on-page, technical, and content SEO, with working knowledge of AEO and GEO
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts at once without dropping quality
- Proficient with Ahrefs or equivalent
- You think in terms of business impact, not just keyword rankings
- Clear communicator who can make complex SEO strategies simple for non-technical stakeholders
- Self-directed. You don't need someone checking in on you every day.
- Experience working with SaaS or high-growth tech companies
Nice to Have
- Experience tracking or optimizing for LLM visibility
- Background in entity-based SEO
- Familiarity with Reddit marketing or community-driven growth strategies

Compensation
- $2,000-3,500/month (based on experience) + annual performance-based bonus
