Railsware is a product studio with two main focuses – Railsware products and consultancy services.

Railsware Products: Mailtrap, Coupler.io, and Jira Smart Checklist were initially created as simple in-house tools. They quickly got recognition in the community and became commercial products with a multi-million user base, steady growth, and ambitious plans.
As for consultancy services, we build great web and mobile solutions focusing on clients’ essential business objectives, creating value for the end-users, and ensuring products’ steady growth.

No matter what products Railsware is working on, we always stick to the three simple principles:
🔶 do what makes sense
🔶 take responsibility
🔶 improve and share your craft

As a result, we can boast of many successful products that help people on various levels. Like these:
🔷 Calendly - an online appointment scheduling platform that we’ve been supporting from the ideation to a $3.5 billion business.
🔷 BrightBytes - a research-based decision support platform. Railsware extended the BrightBytes tech team to help build complicated parts of projects till the moment when Google acquired BrightBytes
🔷 DoctorOnlineUA - a free online platform for Ukrainians who require physical and mental health advice but don’t have access to qualified medicine. During the first six months, more than 1600 consultations have been held for free.

At Railsware, we value freedom, remote and a flexible schedule, and a balanced workload. We guarantee easy-going onboarding, a clear but flexible development plan, and the ability to take responsibility for decision-making through a holacratic team structure. No wonder, an average Railswarian stays in the company for around 5 years!

We invest in building a strong team choosing people who care about their work and are dedicated to their projects. Is that what you were looking for? Join Railsware now, find your new Career Match - https//railsware.com/careers

We are looking for a mature Software Engineer with a product mindset to join our team! 🌟

The position will include building great products, tackling interesting challenges, and contributing to our engineering culture. We expect you to work in pairs, use test-driven development, be experienced in building complex web and mobile applications, and write both clean and maintainable code.

    What "mature" means to us:

    • You've navigated ambiguous problems and designed systems that scaled
    • You make pragmatic technical decisions that balance quality with business impact
    • You help your team grow through pair work, thoughtful code reviews, and knowledge sharing
    • You communicate technical complexity clearly to both engineers and stakeholders

    What You'll Work On:

You'll work on both Railsware products and solutions designed for our clients. Here's the scale and complexity you'll tackle:

    • Mailtrap.io - An email delivery platform serving 1M+ users globally. Challenges include high-volume email processing, real-time delivery tracking, and API design for diverse integration needs.
    • Coupler.io - A data integration and AI analytics platform handling millions of records daily. Think resilient data pipelines, complex transformations, AI integration, and data consistency across systems.
    • Titanapps.io – a set of productivity tools for Jira. We architect integrations with third-party APIs, optimize performance for large datasets, and design intuitive UIs for complex workflows.
    • NexHealth.com – Patient experience platform transforming healthcare. Tasks include HIPAA-compliant architectures, real-time scheduling systems, and integrations with healthcare providers.
    • Tradezella.com – №1 trading journal with sophisticated analytics. Build data visualization systems, complex calculation engines, and real-time market data processing.
    • Knowa.co – Executive-level project management solution. Design intuitive interfaces for high-level insights and build aggregation systems for complex organizational data.

Check other examples of the products we built🔗 (http://railsware.com/case-studies/)

Our tech philosophy: We primarily use Ruby and ReactJS, but our codebases are polyglot by design. We actively experiment with Golang, Python and Node.js in production when they're the right tool. You'll have a voice in technical decisions and technology choices.

    What we're looking for

    🔶 Technical Foundation:

    • 5+ years building Ruby applications with deep Rails expertise
    • Strong architectural skills—you've designed systems, not just implemented features
    • Extensive ReactJS experience, including state management and performance optimization
    • Hands-on experience with multiple database systems
    • Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, Heroku)
    • Comfortable with UNIX/Linux environments
    • TDD practitioner–you write tests that give confidence, not just coverage

    🔶 Professional Maturity:

    • Proven ownership. You've led complex features from architecture through production, including stakeholder management
    • Technical communication. You can explain trade-offs, advocate for technical investments, and write clear documentation
    • Collaborative problem-solver. You build consensus, mentor others, and improve team practices
    • Product thinking. You understand user needs and business constraints, not just technical requirements
    • Good English for written and verbal communication across distributed teams

🌟 What Sets Exceptional Candidates Apart:

    • Experience with pair programming and ensemble programming practices
    • Track record of reducing technical debt while maintaining feature velocity
    • Open-source contributions or technical writing that demonstrates expertise
    • Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or microservices
    • Background in domains like fintech, healthcare, or SaaS platforms at scale

We're looking for a tech-savvy marketing copywriter who excels at translating complex technology into compelling stories that drive action. You'll be the voice behind Coupler.io, our data integration and AI analytics platform processing millions of records daily for business teams worldwide.

Tech-savvy? Marketing? Copywriter? Here's what we mean:

    • You know how to make tech products feel accessible and desirable
    • You own the entire content lifecycle, from research through publication and performance analysis
    • You balance creative storytelling with conversion-focused precision
    • You collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate their insights into user-centric narratives
    • You make strategic content decisions, not just execute briefs

What’s your impact? You'll craft the content that helps business analysts, marketing teams, and operations leaders discover how data integration can transform their workflows. Your words will appear on high-stakes landing pages, in conversion-critical case studies, and across channels where first impressions matter. If that inspires you, apply now!

🔎 What are we looking for?

    Professional background:

    • 2+ years creating content for B2B SaaS with demonstrable results (landing pages that converted, campaigns that resonated, narratives that stuck)
    • UX writing expertise. You create clear, scannable content that guides users naturally toward decisions
    • Portfolio required. Show us landing pages, case studies, product marketing, or campaigns where your words made the difference

    Content Craft:

    • Making tech brains. You can talk to engineers about API architecture and turn it into a compelling customer story about workflow automation
    • Narrative and analytical mastery. You structure complex information logically and know how to build trust through content
    • Research depth. You enjoy digging into unfamiliar topics (data warehouses, marketing attribution, business intelligence) and extracting what matters to your audience
    • Writing excellence. Perfect grammar, consistent tone, ability to adapt your voice to match brand personality – you know the drill
    • Precision and detail. You catch inconsistencies, ask the right questions, verify claims, and maintain quality across all deliverables

    Communication and Teamwork:

    • Confident with experts. You can interview product managers, engineers, and designers, challenge assumptions respectfully, and distill their knowledge
    • Self-directed ownership. You manage your workload, juggle multiple content streams, prioritize effectively, and deliver without constant oversight
    • Product understanding. You proactively learn how Coupler.io works, what problems it solves, and why customers choose it
    • End-to-end accountability. You see projects through from brief to publication, including revisions and stakeholder reviews
    • Fluent English, of course, not only for creative writing but also for communication with colleagues

⭐ What makes you stand out:

    • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and using data insights to optimize copy performance
    • Hands-on familiarity with data analytics tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI): you've used them, not just written about them
    • Comfort working in Figma or similar design tools to input and refine content directly
    • Technical writing or documentation experience that demonstrates clarity under complexity

    🪶What will you do?

    • Own marketing content creation across formats (landing pages, case studies, social media, email campaigns, and product marketing materials) to drive awareness and conversion
    • Research thoroughly by diving into technical documentation, competitor positioning, customer feedback, and industry trends to inform your writing
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to gather insights, validate technical accuracy, and align content with business goals
    • Turn complexity into clarity. Transform tech use cases, data workflows, and integration patterns into engaging stories that resonate with business users
    • Ensure brand consistency while meeting conversion objectives. Make your content feel distinctly Coupler.io and drive measurable results
    • Grow and learn. Master new topics spanning data integration, analytics tools, business processes, and technical concepts relevant to our audience
    • Think beyond execution. Come up with strategic ideas for thought leadership, brand storytelling, content distribution, and user engagement across all channels
    • Keep quality high. Deal with fact-check claims, coordinate stakeholder reviews, and ensure accuracy before publication
    • Measure and optimize. Make data your friend to track content performance and use insights to improve future work

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist , a T-shaped Communicator/Marketer who enjoys storytelling, tech, execution, and all things digital. You will be an extra engine of our Brand team, who powers our voice across various channels, creating content that makes engineers and product managers stop scrolling.

You’d work at the intersection of Marketing, Public Relations, and Recruitment. One hour, you might be crafting a LinkedIn post to promote an engineering vacancy; the next, you’re analyzing CPAs or editing a TikTok video. Whatever you’d do, your ideas and input would matter.

    Your skills

🔶 2+ years in the field: You have solid experience in Employer Branding, Digital Marketing, or SMM.

🔶 Proficient English (C1+): Your writing is clear, sharp, and error-free. You know the difference between writing for a blog vs. a TikTok caption.

🔶 Social media fluency: You understand the ecosystem deeply, from LinkedIn algorithms to Instagram/TikTok trends.

🔶 Storytelling/storythinking: You can take a complex technical update or a chaotic brain dump and turn it into an engaging story.

🔶 Hands-on with visuals: You aren't afraid of design tools. You can create a cover in Figma or edit a simple video in CapCut without needing a tutorial.

🔶 Context switching: You enjoy dynamic where you might juggle a comms request, a paid ad campaign, and a creative sprint in the same day.

🔶 Broad mindset: You understand that "brand" is about reputation and trust, not just posting memes or printing t-shirts.

    Would be a plus

🔶 Strategy ownership: You haven't just posted content; you know the “why” behind the “what.”

🔶 Niche experience: Background in the tech industry/communicating with technical audiences (B2E or B2B).

🔶 Ads toolkit: Track record of managing campaigns on LinkedIn, Meta, or TikTok Ads.

People’s person: Experience managing tech communities or organizing events.

    What you’ll actually do

🔶 Own the socials: You won’t just "post updates." You will drive engagement on LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube (and launch our TikTok!). You are the first point of interaction in the comments section.

🔶 Run paid ads: You’ll manage the budget for promoting our vacancies. You know that "boosting" a post isn't a strategy. You’ll set up targeting, A/B test creatives, and optimize for conversions. (And if you don’t know how to, we’ll help you learn on the go).

🔶 Create visual content: We have designers, but we don't want to block you on every small task. You should be comfortable jumping into Figma to make a cover image/banner or cutting a quick video interview in CapCut or similar tools.

🔶 Write like a human: Whether it’s a blog post, a landing page, or a cold outreach email to a conference organizer, your writing is clear, witty, and zero-fluff.

🔶 Shape the narrative: You’ll help our experts articulate their thoughts (ghostwriting) and support our Product teams when big launches happen.

🔶 Enjoy the offline, too: A couple of times a year we take part in the industry events, where your organizational and communication skills would be helpful.

This role is for you if...

🔶 You are a maker: You’re okay with not only thinking what to do but actually doing it. Maybe, you even get a dopamine hit when you hit "Publish."

🔶 You speak “digital”: You know why a post failed, why a meme works, and how to write a hook that grabs attention in two seconds.

🔶 You respect data: You don’t justify your work with "vibes." You look at the numbers (CTR, Engagement Rate, CPA) to tell us what’s working.

🔶 You have high standards for English: Your writing is native-level (C1+). You know the difference between "utilize" and "use" (and you prefer the latter).

    Why Railsware?

🔶 No meaningless things or endless meetings: We hate bureaucracy. If you have a good idea, you can test and ship it.

🔶 Great culture: We are a team of mature professionals. We don't micromanage. We trust you to do your job.

🔶 Global impact: Your work will be seen by thousands of engineers and product people worldwide.
