Requirements:

· 4+ years of Spark, Python/Scala experience

· Experience working with huge databases and batch processing datasets with billions of records

· Experience with building and writing software from scratch (full SDLC)

· Experience with Apache Airflow orchestrating framework

· 3+ years working with SQL and relational databases

· Experience with Snowflake data storage will be a big plus

· 3+ years working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud providers

· A self-motivated learner who is willing to self-teach

· Self-starter who can maintain a team-centered outlook

· GIS/Geospatial tools/analysis experience working with geolocation data

Responsibilities:

· Working productively within an AGILE team environment

· As part of the development team, assist in planning and prioritizing jobs

· Design and development of product application

· Build data systems

· Writing, testing and debugging code for new and existing software products

· Responding promptly to bug reports and production issues

· Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

· Review and debug code

· Collaborate with internal teams to fix and improve products

· Document code and assist in testing and QA of systems

· Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
