Project: 
Hospitality Analytics Platform
Requirements:
- 6+ years hands-on data engineering (not architecture diagrams - actual pipelines in production)
- Strong Spark/PySpark and Python
- Advanced SQL
- AWS data stack: EMR, Glue, S3, Redshift (or similar), IAM, CloudWatch
- Terraform

Would be a plus:
- Kafka/Kinesis streaming experience
- Airflow or similar orchestration
- Experience supporting BI tools and analytics teams

Responsibilities:
- Build and operate Spark/PySpark workloads on EMR and Glue

This mobile application enables ranchers to build historical records of their animals through regular field observations. Each observation captures photos, a voice memo (transcribed on-device), GPS coordinates, and descriptive indicators. The data creates a living timeline per animal - surfacing health trends, grazing patterns, and missing/last-seen alerts.

Responsibilities:

- 4–5+ years of prior experience in mobile application development using React Native;

- Experience building a project from scratch and releasing an application to the App Store;

You will also implement a strong local development environment to improve developer productivity. This role is best for someone who has led pipeline consolidation across multiple repos/services and has shipped build and test improvements that measurably reduced cycle time.

Requirements:

- Senior-level DevOps experience owning CI/CD at scale across multiple services or repositories
