Currently, we are searching for an experienced General QA Engineer to become a great addition to our team. Our client is looking for a General QA Engineer for the aviation project. You will play a key role in the development of an automation framework following best practices.
 

Must have good communication skills in English.

Work type: Remote.

Responsibilities:
— Execute automation test suite and analyze/report results;
— Manual testing with existing test cases;
— Plan and describe test scenarios for future automation in cooperation with colleagues;
— Implement new automation tests;
— Participate in team meetings to discuss task implementation details from a QA perspective;
— Create detailed testing documentation to grow the internal knowledge base;
— Search and try new testing solutions that can bring benefits;
— Be part of a full-stack development team;
— Look for new approaches in automation and apply best practices.

Required Skills:
— 2+ years of experience working with Manual and Automation testing;

— General knowledge and practical experience writing web automation using JavaScript;
— Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright and WebDriver.io;

— Experience with web testing frameworks and tools;

— Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance;

— Experience in test case development, execution and maintenance;

— Experience with CI/CD tools;

— Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to detail;

— Willingness to ask for help from colleagues and to help others;
— Knowledge and experience working with Appium for Mobile Automation;
— Upper-intermediate English level.

Hard Skills:

— 5+ years’ of hands-on experience in developing automated tests using test automation frameworks at the UI, API and DB layers;

 — Practical experience in analyzing business needs for test automation, selecting and evaluating new tools for the company;

 — Proven experience in strategizing, developing from scratch and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks;

 — General knowledge and practical experience writing web automation using TypeScript and JavaScript;

— Hands-on experience with automation in Playwright and WebDriver.io;

— Knowledge and experience working with Appium for Mobile Automation;

— Good understanding of CI/CD, such as Jenkins;

— Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman and Swagger;
— At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English (effective written and verbal communication).

Soft Skills:

— Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team of business analysts, project managers and software developers;

— Ability to consistently meet strict delivery deadlines;

— Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Execute performance tests as required;
• Responsible for creating and maintaining test artifacts (plans, reports, dashboards);
• Search and try new testing solutions that can bring benefits;
• Be part of a full-stack development team.

• 3+ years of experience working with Automation testing;
• General knowledge and practical experience writing web automation using JavaScript;
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright;
• Experience with web testing frameworks and tools;
• Proven experience in performance testing of web applications and REST API;
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools like K6;
• Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance;
