Location: Remote (Global team with R&D mostly in Ukraine)

Team Size: Leading a team of 4 developers

Responsibilities: Split between:

• Leadership & Architecture (50%)
• Hands-on Development (50%)

We expect you to own large end-to-end features, both by creating feature designs, delegating them to the FE/BE devs, and reviewing; and developing mission-critical, complicated parts yourself.

Pulse Intelligence is a Seed-stage SaaS start-up turning messy natural resources documents and real-time data into ready data for miners, hedge funds, and banks. 

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

• 7+ years of dev experience, with significant depth in both backend and frontend development
• Python
• React/TypeScript
• Architecture patterns knowledge
• Solid database design skills
• API design experience

Leadership & Collaboration:

• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring developers - as a team lead, or senior developer with mentorship responsibilities
• Strong communication skills - ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• C1+ English proficiency - fluent verbal communication required for daily collaboration
• Track record of delivering projects end-to-end

Big Plus - experience with:

• Advanced Kubernetes and/or Terraform
• Production-grade LLM pipelines
• Machine Learning
• Advanced Web Scraping
• B2B SaaS experience - building products for professional users with complex workflows

Backend: Python, Django, Celery + Redis, PostgreSQL

Interview Process

1. Introductory call with CTO (30 minutes)
2. Take-home challenge (6 hours)
3. Technical and Cultural Fit Interview (1.5 hours)
4. System Design Interview (1.5 hours)
5. Final chat with CEO - offer within 48 hours
