    We are seeking motivated and experienced QA Manual Engineer with the automation testing skills. Our client is a U.S.-based subsidiary of a leading Canadian IP telecom services provider focused on helping small and medium businesses set up and support their communications using either on-site or fully in-cloud deployments of IP telephone services with support for both desk phones and mobile app phones. The project in question is working primarily on the quoting Web Application used in early stages of sales process when engaging with potential new customers and extending the services or deployment locations for the existing ones. The web app has a number of company-internal  integrations such as CRM and client portal / billing systems. It also integrates with third-party platform for providing the electronic signature of the contract PDFs when closing the deal. Our client is a publicly traded company which means it operates in a regulated environment with strict compliance standards. 

     

    Required Qualification: 

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA engineering focused on manual testing. 

    • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile frameworks. 

    • Extensive experience designing and executing functional, end-to-end, smoke, regression, and integration test scenarios. 

    • Skilled in using tools such as Postman / Swagger for API testing, Jira for defect tracking, and GCP / AWS for checking the application logs, etc.. 

    • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

    • Strong analytical and communication skills, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
     
    Nice to have: 
    Experience testing client-facing web applications with bi-directional API integrations. 
    Experience with Selenium automation tools and Serenity reports analysis 
     
    What You’ll Do: 
    As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality releases across our product ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: 

    • Collaborating closely with the development team and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. 

    • Designing, writing, and executing functional, end-to-end, smoke, and regression test cases for the web application. 

    • Performing thorough manual testing to validate feature functionality, data flow, and integration between services. 

    • Testing APIs using Postman to verify backend responses and service behaviour. 

    • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing and supporting test cycles with product and business teams to ensure the release meets user expectations. 

    • Filing detailed bug reports in Jira and documenting testing processes and findings in Confluence and/or MS Cloud Excel or Word documents

    • Contributing to release readiness by validating builds across development, staging, and production environments.
