Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Perform Quality Control & Quality Assurance activities
• Review Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and Test Cases in TestRails to verify all specified requirements have been covered
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate automated testing activities with the Team and the AQA Team Leader
• Design, develop, debug, execute, and maintain the automated test scripts for various Products & Services
• Maintain, upgrade & evolve the Automation Infrastructure & Framework
• Analyze test results, identify & report issues, and work closely with Developers & QA to resolve Defects and improve Product Quality
• Thoroughly understand the QA Strategy, QA Processes, and the AQA role during all Product Development stages & monitor that the Team complies with them
• Solve complex managerial and technical problems independently or with Manager's help

Qualifications

• Possess strong skills in Java, including programming patterns and principles
• Have 1.5+ years of hands-on experience in Web and/or Mobile (iOS, Android) App Automation using Selenium/Appium, TestNG, and Java
• Have practical experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
• Are proficient in using Version Control Systems (e.g., GIT, SVN)
• Have solid experience working with HTTP technologies, including REST APIs and JSON
• Are familiar with relational databases, such as SQL
• Understand the Agile software development life cycle and its associated tools
• Have experience with BDD, ATDD, and TDD methodologies
• Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Have an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency

GPAS TEAM

Gaming Platform as a Service aka GPAS is Playtech’s exclusive distributed games delivery platform that currently has more than 1000 games running on it. 

GPAS is a highly accessible, multi-tenant, scalable, distributed and event-driven system written in Scala with the help of the Akka framework. 

We use Couchbase as a hot storage and AWS S3/DynamoDB as our cold storage to ensure we can handle nearly a billion transactions per day. 

We have a complex solution that provides capabilities to run a variety of different slot, and multiplayer games and our architecture supports an extension to support other types of games.

We adopt Scrum methodology to deliver new features on time.
