    About Planit-inc.

    Planit is an international construction management company.

    We specialize in construction management and control, using BIM/VDC technologies. Our core product, Plan&Control, streamlines data management and communication for construction projects.

    With over 13 years on the market, we’ve delivered 200+ projects in collaboration with industry leaders such as Skanska, Suffolk Construction, Webcor Builders, Greystar, Related, Edged, and others across the USA, Europe, Ukraine, and the UAE. Our iconic projects include Waldorf Astoria, Apple Campus, SFO International Airport, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Chandler Intel Factory, Transbay Transit Terminal, AWS Data Center, and more.

    The Role

    We’re hiring an experienced Product Designer (UI/UX) to own end-to-end design for enterprise features. You’ll work tightly with Product and Engineering, evolve our tokenized design system, and help strengthen design→code workflows (Tailwind + Storybook).

    At Planit-inc., we’ve developed a hybrid project-management framework for construction projects—Plan & Control (P&C)—that merges the best of lean, waterfall, and agile.

    Paired with our software suite, P&C makes change management structured and transparent, creates a single source of truth for geometry-related data, and reduces friction by aligning teams early and iterating on each change round.

    What you’ll do?

    • Drive discovery → delivery for complex B2B workflows (problem framing, flows, wireframes);
    • Maintain and expand our design system (tokens, components, patterns); ensure consistency across surfaces;
    • Partner with engineers on design→code: spec handoff, Storybook alignment, token mapping to Tailwind, UI QA;
    • Prototype in Figma; iterate quickly via stakeholder reviews and user feedback; Run lightweight research (interviews, usability tests) and use Mixpanel/A/B results to inform decisions;
    • Design data-dense interfaces in Figma (tables, filters, dashboards, permissions, states) with clarity and accessibility in mind;
    • Document guidelines, contribution rules, and workflows that scale.

    What you’ll bring?

    • 3+ years in product design with B2B SaaS experience shipping complex features;
    • Expert Figma (auto-layout, variants, variables/components, prototyping);
    • Hands-on with design tokens and collaborating in Tailwind/Storybook ecosystems;
    • Comfortable with Mixpanel (or similar) and basic experiment/A-B tooling;
    • Strong systems thinking, crisp UX writing, and clear written/verbal communication with PM/Engineering in English;
    • Portfolio preferred (2–3 concise case studies). If unavailable, attach detailed write-ups/screens.

    Nice to have

    • AECO/ConTech/BIM familiarity;
    • Experience designing for enterprise personas;
    • Motion/interaction style (micro-interactions, empty/error states);
    • Awareness of accessibility and localization considerations.

    How we work

    • Small, senior team; high autonomy and ownership.
    • Tokenized design + Tailwind + Storybook for a tight design-dev loop.
    • Access to users when needed; Mixpanel for behavioral insight; pragmatic research.

    Process (fast)

    1. 30-min intro screen
    2. 60-min portfolio deep-dive (or project walkthrough)
    3. 60-min product critique or live working session (no take-home spec work)
