- Optimize database performance (especially MySQL) to handle large-scale data.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of Petcube’s systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Strong expertise in PHP (Symfony framework).
- Solid skills in database optimization, particularly MySQL.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Experience with monitoring and logging systems for distributed environments.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with video streaming technologies and real-time communication systems.
- Knowledge of Python, Golang, or Java.
- Expertise in secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

We’re looking for a detail-oriented engineer who’s great at executing tasks, eager to learn, and comfortable following established processes. You’ll be part of a close-knit team developing smart pet devices that thousands of pet lovers use worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Implement business tasks and features in the firmware
- Support and maintain the existing codebase
- Assist with software requirements documentation at the component level
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of firmware and hardware interactions
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience with C or C++ development
- Solid knowledge of C and understanding of C++ basics
