OROMOON is a cosmic intelligence app redefining personal growth—an AI-powered platform blending astrology, mindfulness, and emotional clarity. We’re building a tool for the soul that feels like a reset button in your pocket, and we’re looking for a skilled Back-End Developer to help us bring this vision to life.

This is a part-time consulting role...perfect for someone who’s efficient, autonomous, and thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage environment. You’ll collaborate closely with our front-end lead to strengthen our infrastructure, optimize performance, and scale our AI-driven features.

🌙 Your Mission:

• Build, maintain, and refine our back-end using Node.js and MongoDB
• Optimize API performance for efficiency and scale
• Manage and streamline cloud costs (AWS preferred, Firebase experience a plus)
• Ensure platform security and stability as we grow
• Support the development of AI-driven features like personalized horoscopes, transit analysis, and moon phase insights

• Solve challenges with creative, clean, and scalable solutions (bonus points if debugging is your superpower...we have a tricky natal chart bug that could use some love.)

   

🌙 What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience with Node.js and MongoDB
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge...AWS preferred (Firebase a plus)
• Proven ability to build scalable, secure back-end systems for mobile apps
• Passion for optimizing cloud costs and performance
• Clear, proactive communication style...you know how to work independently but collaborate when it counts

• An eye for detail, a heart for problem-solving, and a mind that loves to learn
