Project: Portfolio management systems for a US financial institution. 

What you will be doing:  

As part of the team, you will be participating in a client project focused on portfolio management solutions. You will help develop new software features, as well as support and maintain existing ones. You will be writing scalable and fault-tolerant code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. You will be collaborating closely with the client and product manager to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements, and contribute to code quality through unit testing, integration testing, code review, and system design using Python to build robust software that aligns with the client’s business needs. 

What we are looking for:  

• A strong programming background with Python and OOP skills.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience building backend systems and working with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL databases.
• Experience with FastAPI and Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or above. 
• Experience with AWS is a plus.

What you will be doing

As part of the team, you will be participating in a client project focused on Market Risk Technology solutions. You will help develop new software features, as well as support and maintain existing ones. You will write scalable and fault-tolerant code, debug applications, and build solutions for market data processing and risk analytics. You will collaborate closely with the client, product managers, and engineering teams to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements. You will contribute to code quality through unit testing, integration testing, code review, and system design to build robust software that aligns with the client’s business needs. 

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience designing scalable backend applications, frameworks, or data platforms.
• Experience building backend systems and working with REST APIs.
• Experience working with SQL, large datasets, and data processing pipelines. 
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Experience using distributed computing technologies is a strong plus. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or above. 
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

What will be a plus

• Extensive experience with C++ or Java/Scala.
• Experience in financial services or Market Risk systems.
• Knowledge of Historical VaR, Expected Shortfall, or FRTB.

What you will be doing:

As part of the team, you will be participating in a project for a major US financial holding company. You will develop, maintain, and support software features, write scalable and fault-tolerant Java code, debug applications, and integrate with internal and third-party services. You will collaborate with the product team to meet requirements and ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and system design.

Project: Modernization of a monolithic system into a microservices architecture.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in FinTech.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Proficient in SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with AWS.
• Python knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to test your own code to ensure quality.
• Capable of working autonomously and independently. 
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
• Upper-intermediate English level or higher.
