Building intelligent gateway infrastructure — payment routing, transaction orchestration, financial operations across multiple business verticals.
Looking for a backend engineer to join our core platform team. This is a full-time role (45+ hrs/week), not a short-term gig.
What we need:
• NestJS / Node.js + TypeScript
• PostgreSQL, strong SQL skills
• REST API design, service architecture
• DDD or hexagonal architecture understanding
• Docker, Git, CI/CD basics
• Clean code, testing mindset
Nice to have: Payment systems, financial infrastructure, Laravel, Redis, Temporal.io
The opportunity: Start on integrations and adapters. Prove you can own a domain, grow into owning core gateway systems (Ledger, Payments, Routing). Compensation grows with demonstrated performance — we're interested in what you can do, not rigid pay bands.
Timezone: EU-based team. Americas candidates must work mornings to overlap EU hours (minimum 4 hrs daily with 9am-6pm CET).
