New Wave Devs

We are New Wave Devs, a senior engineering team. We are hiring a Senior Go engineer to embed long-term with our client, a Netherlands-based AI-native creative-tools company building the backend of their AI Studio product.

It is a fast-paced product team: new frontier AI models are pushed into production within a day or two of release. You will own real pieces of the backend and work directly with their engineers.

What you will do:
• Design and scale Go microservices that manage the lifecycle of AI generations (image, video, audio, 3D, vector)
• Build and run RAG pipelines and agent orchestration around production models
• Handle long-running, resource-intensive inference tasks and high data throughput: queues, backpressure, retries
• Work with AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda), Kafka and SQS for async processing, ConnectRPC / gRPC / GraphQL
• Bridge AI model outputs into user-facing creative workflows

You should have:
• 5+ years backend, Go-first
• Hands-on LLM or RAG work that reached production, not API calls from a prototype: LangChain, LangGraph, pgvector or similar
• AWS (EKS/K8s), Kafka or SQS, gRPC/ConnectRPC, microservices at scale
• Ownership mindset, comfortable when specs are not perfect, able to switch between shipping fast and building for scale
• Real interest in the product itself. The client asks about it directly.
• Good English, daily work with the client team

We embed senior engineers inside product teams in Europe and the US. This role is for a Belgian fintech building a business valuation platform used by accountants and auditors.

The work has two halves and they belong to one person:
1. Integrations with Benelux accounting systems: Silverfin (REST), Yuki (SOAP), Exact (OAuth2). Three protocols, three auth models, each with its own way of breaking.

2. The infrastructure those integrations live on: pipelines, secrets, retries, monitoring, and the deploys that keep it all running.

You are a fit if
— 5+ years backend, strong in at least one of Python, Node.js or .NET
— You have built third-party API integrations that went to production and stayed there
— Comfortable with SOAP as well as REST, and with OAuth2 flows
— You own your own infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD, and either Terraform or Kubernetes in real projects
— English C1: you talk to the client directly, not through a manager
— You can overlap with Central European hours

Nice to have
— Accounting, ERP or fintech domain experience
— AWS, Azure or GCP at production scale

Conditions
— Full-time, remote from Ukraine
— $4,300–5,000 per month depending on experience
— Long-term: the integration layer is the first piece, not the whole scope
— You interview with the client before anything is signed, and you meet our CTO first

We are hiring a Product Owner who also owns UX and acceptance testing to embed long-term with our client, a US operations company that builds its own internal business apps on Replit. A full-stack developer from our team is already there.
 

Small apps, short sprints. Today, the founder holds the product in his head, writes the tickets, and checks the results himself. You take that over: the board, the prototypes, the testing, and the release call, so the apps feel like products, not admin panels. 15 to 20 hours a week to start, hours flexible with a daily overlap with the developer in Eastern Europe and the founder in the US Eastern time. Part-time to start, paid pro rata, full-time as more apps are added. Success test: within three weeks, the founder spends less time on the apps.

What you will do:
• Own the Jira board: backlog, sprints, tickets, acceptance criteria written before dev starts
• Build clickable prototypes with Replit, Claude or ChatGPT, no static mockups
• Test each release against your own criteria and decide when it ships
• Own the look and feel of every app
• Run the daily with the developer, write a one-page weekly report per app: shipped, next, blocked
• Own the roadmap per app and be the founder's thought partner on product

You should have:
• Jira board you ran for a shipped product, and you can show it
• Clickable prototype you built yourself with AI tools, ready to walk through on the call
• Habit of writing acceptance criteria and testing against them yourself
• Product design sense: flows, states, layouts, not only wireframes
• Fluent English, daily calls with a US founder
