We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to join our globally distributed team, working with clients across Europe and the USA. This is a hands-on individual contributor role combining strong manual QA ownership with test automation development and maintenance.
 

Role Overview

As a Middle QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating new features end-to-end, owning regression quality, and maintaining a reliable automation suite. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product stakeholders to ensure stable releases, clear defect reporting, and consistent test coverage for modern web applications (often high-traffic, customer-facing products).
 

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, exploratory, and end-to-end testing for web applications

Own regression testing and release verification for assigned areas/features

Report, track, and verify defects using Jira (and other tools when applicable)

Create and maintain QA documentation where needed (test plans/coverage/checklists)

Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites using: 

• Playwright (TypeScript)

• Cucumber.js (BDD / Gherkin)

• Page Object Model (POM)
Run and maintain tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), investigate failures, and reduce test flakiness.

Validate fixes, retest issues, and support pre-release sign-off activities

Communicate status, blockers, and risks clearly in English

Use AI tools to speed up analysis, test design, and documentation while maintaining quality

Contribute to improving QA processes (better regression packs, stronger automation reliability, clearer reporting)

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of QA experience with a real mix of manual + automation (web)

Strong QA fundamentals: SDLC/STLC, defect lifecycle, test design techniques

Hands-on automation experience with Playwright or similar (Cypress/Selenium)

TypeScript/JavaScript experience sufficient to write and maintain automated tests

BDD exposure (Cucumber/Gherkin) or strong willingness to work in BDD style

Experience with CI pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and debugging failing runs

Experience with Bug Tracking Systems and basic test documentation practices

Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) - daily collaboration in English is required

Nice to Have

Experience testing high-traffic or e-commerce-style flows (auth, checkout, payments, account, order history)

Experience using AI tools in QA workflows (analysis, test ideas, draft docs)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer with deep Shopify expertise to build high-performance e-commerce solutions. You will contribute to both implementation and architecture, collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, fast, and user-friendly storefronts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript
• Work with Shopify Online Store 2.0 features (sections, blocks, metafields)
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and backend services
• Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS), accessibility (WCAG), and SEO
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions (state management, caching, deployment)
• Act as the primary Shopify expert, advising on platform capabilities and custom app development
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in a collaborative environment

Requirements:

• 5+ years front-end development, including 2+ years in a senior role
• Proven Shopify expertise:
  • Customizing and building themes using Liquid, HTML, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript
  • Online Store 2.0 framework and theme architecture (sections, blocks, metafields)
  • Shopify admin, storefront, and checkout customization
  • Shopify CLI, Git-based deployment, and development workflows
  • Integrating third-party apps and custom scripts
  • Solid understanding of Shopify limitations and best practices for performance, accessibility, and SEO
  • Working knowledge of Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API) and webhooks
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and asynchronous JavaScript (fetch/AJAX)
• Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, esbuild); TailwindCSS is a plus

We are looking for a Lead Architect / Technical Lead based in LATAM or the EU to define and drive the technical architecture of a modern e-commerce platform. You will lead migration from a legacy monolithic system to a scalable headless architecture and guide the team through implementation.

The project will use Next.js or Nuxt (final choice TBD). We need a framework-agnostic architect with deep experience in modern meta-frameworks.

• Proven experience leading e-commerce migrations from legacy or custom platforms to headless solutions
• Experience designing architecture within PaaS constraints and integrating third-party services (payments, fulfillment, marketing tools)
• Strong knowledge of modern tooling: Vite, Turbopack, Webpack, Tailwind CSS
