We already have a live Shopify website.

Our goal is to improve and refine the structure, usability, and visual logic of the existing store — not to build something from scratch.

We are looking for a Shopify developer with experience in art galleries, art stores, or design-led brands, and with a strong sense of aesthetics and visual restraint. This role requires more than technical execution — it requires taste and curatorial thinking.

What we value:

• Experience with art, gallery, or visually driven e-commerce projects
• Strong Shopify and Liquid knowledge
• Understanding of layout structure, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to improve structure while respecting an existing visual identity
• Designer’s mindset alongside development skills
• Fluent English — ability to clearly understand requirements and explain technical decisions and terminology in English

Scope of work:

• Structural and UX improvements of an existing Shopify store
• Theme customization (Liquid, CSS, minimal JS)
• App integrations where necessary
• Careful, thoughtful refinement rather than aggressive redesign

Work format:

• Project-based (not full-time, not permanent)
• Remote
• Payment options:
  • Hourly rate or
  • Fixed price for the full project

• Ability to issue invoices
• Registered sole proprietorship (FOP) or Upwork contract required

We are looking for a junior content creator with an art-oriented mindset, ideally a recent graduate of an art university or academy, who is genuinely interested in art history and contemporary artistic discourse.

Who we’re looking for:

• A junior-level writer / content creator
• Background in fine art, art history, visual culture, or related fields
• Strong interest in writing about:
  • Artists and their biographies
  • Art movements and styles
  • Contemporary and classical art
  • Spanish art of the 18th–19th centuries (important)
• An artistic way of thinking and a creative, analytical vision
• Curiosity, taste, and the ability to write with clarity and structure

Language requirement (mandatory):

• Excellent, fluent English
• Ability to write and communicate at a professional level
• Comfortable working with British collaborators and editors

Work format:

• Project-based work (order by order, not permanent employment)
• Remote worldwide or on-site in Barcelona
• Payment:
  • Hourly or
  • Per project
• Compensation discussed individually

Administrative requirement:

• Must be self-employed
• Ability to issue invoices or work via Upwork contract

Portfolio required:

• Writing samples related to art, culture, or visual studies
• Academic, editorial, or independent work is acceptable
