Maison Commerce is an international agency specializing in Shopify landing page and product page design and development. We help Shopify brands boost their conversions through CRO-first strategies and custom theme development. Our team works remotely across the globe, delivering high-quality, high-performance websites for DTC brands.
 

The Role

We’re looking for a full-time Junior / Strong Junior Shopify Developer to join our growing development team.
You’ll work closely with designers, other devs, QA, and project managers to implement new Shopify pages and features, customize themes, and ensure all work meets our quality and performance standards.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced e-commerce agency environment with plenty of room for growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Shopify themes based on Figma designs
• Implement responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Make small functional changes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Optimize website performance and loading speed
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and PMs to deliver pixel-perfect results
• Fix bugs and implement small updates for ongoing client projects

Requirements

• 1+ year of commercial web development experience (agency or freelance)
• Basic knowledge of Shopify (theme editing, Liquid templating, app integration)
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript
• Experience working with Figma
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and deliver pixel-perfect designs
• Good English skills (at least Intermediate) for written communication

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Sections, Dawn theme, or custom theme development
• Knowledge of Shopify metafields, filters, and collections
• Familiarity with Git / version control

• Basic understanding of SEO best practices for Shopify

   

Compensation & Growth

• Full-time, remote position (40 hours/week)
• Salary: $900–$1,200/month depending on skills and experience
• Opportunity to grow to Middle Shopify Developer within the agency

• Work directly with international clients and a highly skilled team
