Responsibilities:

Requirements:

We are looking for an Autonomous systems engineer with a background in computer vision, control theory and mathematical modelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong math background, experience with autonomous systems, modelling and control design. We consider engineers at Middle and Senior levels - tasks and responsibilities will be adjusted accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years in R&D software development
• Hands-on experience with classical computer vision
• Understanding of geometrical computer vision principles
• System identification and control
• Sensor fusion/signal processing
• Proficiency in C++
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Linux and single-board computers
• Ability to quickly navigate through recent research and trends in computer vision and autonomous systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SLAM and/or Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO)
• Matlab
• Experience with PX4, betaflight, Ardupilot
• Familiarity with neural networks and common CV frameworks/libraries (OpenCV, NumPy, PyTorch, ONNX, Eigen, etc.)

Our client is an international technology startup developing cutting-edge solutions for defense (related to airspace security and protection).
 

Responsibilities

• Handle live inquiries about our drone and ground station features and operation, using your hands-on knowledge of our product and feature roadmap
• Troubleshoot customer problem reports over through our secure help desk software or phone, by gathering information, logging, troubleshooting, triaging, and - as appropriate - talking the customer through a solution or escalating to a higher support level
• Perform root cause analysis through hands-on testing, code-level analysis, detailed log analysis, and other methods
• Review software releases and hardware changes in depth in advance of rollout, and help customers in learning and deciding when to switch to the new functionality
• Perform root cause technical escalations and work on remediations to reduce them over time, to the extent reasonably possible
• Develop, implement and set up any needed tools for the above activities, such as automated log analysis and customer success tracking
• Work closely with customers to gather feature requests, learn about new challenges in the field or any operational concerns, and report them to the operations or development team
• Build and maintain strong and productive working relationships with customers
   

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent knowledge and skill)
• 1+ years of experience working with early-stage hardware products, preferably drones or similar autonomous systems
• Proven experience in providing technical support, including strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and managing triage and escalation workflows
• A solid understanding of network architecture and troubleshooting, particularly for Wi-Fi networks
• Familiar with Linux operating system configuration and preferably Linux shell scripting
• Proficient with Python, GitHub and other essential build tools
• Understanding of cloud service offerings (AWS, GCP), deployment techniques, and configuration management
• Experience working with a range of customers, as well as manufacturing, operations, product management, and development teams
• English (Level C1 or higher)

• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts

• Повна вища технічна освіта
• Знання загальновживаних компонентів та досвід проектування цифрових та аналогових схем, схем живлення
• Знання технологічних процесів при виготовленні PCB
• Досвід проектування друкованих плат відповідно до вимог виробника (DFM, DFT)
• Знання інтерфейсів передачі даних (апаратний рівень SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, LVDS і т.д.)
• Володіння Altium Designer або Cadence Allegro на професійному рівні
• Досвід роботи з вимірювальним обладнанням (осцилограф, спектроаналізатор, логічний аналізатор), налагодження лабораторних зразків
• Бажано досвід проектування НВЧ схем, проведення симуляцій з Signal integrity, пов’язаних з цим вимірювань
• Бажано досвід проектування приладів у відповідності до вимог EMC

• Бажано досвід проектування пристроїв з високошвидкісними інтерфейсами (PCIE, USB3.1, LVDS тощо)

   

Задачі:

• Проектування схем цифрових та аналогових пристроїв, схем живлення - окремо або у складі НВЧ пристроїв
• Узгодження компоновки друкованих плат та виконання розрахунків, розміщення роз’ємів та індикаторів.
• Взаємодія з проектувальниками механічних деталей і корпусів, формування вимог до тепловідводу, екранування
• Розробка схем, підбір компонентів, компоновка, трасування друкованих плат відповідно до вимог технологічних процесів виробництва та тестування, супровід у процесі виробництва
• Тестування та налагодження лабораторних зразків приладів, виявлення несправностей або недоліків дизайну
• Підготовка технічної документації та розробка BOM
