We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Node.js Engineer who’s ready to take ownership of backend development and help us scale our systems to the next level. You’ll be building reliable APIs, optimizing data flows, and ensuring that every part of our infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your Role
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs powered by Node.js
- Work with MongoDB to ensure fast, efficient data handling and storage
- Deploy and optimize services on AWS (including ECS, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway)
- Make key architectural and design decisions for distributed, high-load environments
- Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to create seamless solutions
- Keep the codebase clean, efficient, and well-documented; participate in peer reviews
- Share your expertise by mentoring teammates and supporting their professional growth
- Continuously enhance performance, stability, and system security
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and Express.js
- Deep understanding of MongoDB and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Proven experience designing and supporting complex, large-scale systems
- Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, and efficient code
- Background in microservices or distributed systems
- Experience improving legacy codebases and enhancing overall system performance
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to turn product ideas into technical solutions
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging queues
